Designed over 3 levels over looking its private swimming pool this villa boasts 2 large master bedroom suites, private bedroom balcony, en-suites, master bedroom walk in dressing / lounge room, beautiful large kitchen with access to a spacious curved balcony designed and set for alfresco dining over looking the swimming pool, 5 sky televisions all with dvd players and a dvd / PlayStation library and many more special features which can all be seen on the owners website linked at the bottom.
Alvor is renowned for being a beautiful old fishing village in the Algarve in Portugal with its long quiet sandy beaches that stretch on for miles. This Portuguese village has many bars, restaurants and shops that can be found nestled within its narrow streets where fresh sardines are grilled open air making a mouth watering place to enjoy lunch. A five minute drive away Portimao caters for a real mixture of needs, it boasts a popular marina with luxury yachts and up market restaurants. Its town has several large supermarkets and a shopping / cinema complex. Praia da Rocha serves as the large Algarve coastal town, set looking out onto the beaches its cliff tops are lined with restaurants, shops, bars and clubs. A short drive away from the villa will take you up high into the mountain area to the unspoilt town of Monchique, market stalls and coffee shops are reached by spectacular views around these winding roads passing donkey and cart this part of Portugal is steeped with history.

Free mid week maid service with all bookings, although guests can pay reception for daily maid service as well if they require this extra. Discounted car hire can be booked in advance. Smoking permitted on the undercover balconies (ash trays provided), but no smoking in doors please. One 6 seater dining table indoors + one 6 seater dining table out doors (alfresco) All Dvd players throughout the villa play Cd's, ipod's can be connected to most audio equipment throughout (connecting cables required). There is a PlayStation with a large selection of games + a large selection of Dvd discs to choose from. Out & About: 2km to beach, 2km Alvor 2km Praia da Rocha, 1km to some bars/restaurants and shop In all this part of the Algarve treats you with all that is needed for a wonderful stay. Many golf courses , beaches, scuba diving, surfing, jet skiing, wind & kite surfing, riding, fishing, cycling, sailing, to mention but a few and when the kids have tried all these there are still water parks , jeep safari’s and Zoo marine world. Staying in this special Villa with all of its facilities makes this a wonderful experience you are likely to want to come again.
The Alto Country Club: The Alto Country Club, set in 18 acres of tropical gardens, waterfalls and ornamental pools overlooking the beach. Its facilities include large swimming pool, children's pool, indoor heated pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, gym, beauty salon, floodlit tennis courts, children's play area, kids club, clubroom, beach sun bed area, restaurants and bars. Residents at the villa have the full use of all Alto Golf and Country Club facilities. You can relax around Alto's outdoor pool, with a cocktail from The Rum Shack, Alto's very own Caribbean Rum Shack themed poolside bar, work out in the gymnasium, have a quiet game of tennis, swim lengths in the indoor pool or simply wander around the beautiful gardens. There is a choice of two restaurants for you at the country club; Cottons Restaurant for an a-la-carte dining experience, flambé dishes a specialty, and the less formal Douro Bar and Grill, themed around the famed Northern Portuguese wine and port region.
Security: Alto Golf and Country Club has 24 hr security which patrols the resort at night. The villa has retractable security window shutters throughout and a security alarm. Safety deposit box can be rented at reception. Portugal is one of the lowest crime rate countries in Europe.

pon entering the villa's main mid level entrance a curved stairwell takes you from this level up past a quiet reading area and onto the first floor which houses the entire master bedroom studio No1 with en-suite bath & shower room, from this private level a set of patio doors opens out onto its spacious private terrace holding sun loungers and dining table. Back down to the mid level is a twin bedroom and en-suite shower room, TV & DVD player with a fitted wardrobe and patio windows leading straight outside to a quiet area at the rear of the property. Another stairway leads you downstairs to the other 3 bedrooms; tucked away here is the second master double studio with separate walk-in dressing / lounge Tv & Dvd area, large double shower en-suite and patio doors to the swimming pool terrace. A great family break
A well situated,high quality villa that was the perfect base for our family holiday.
Alvor has some excellent reataurants,all family orientated.

A fabulous retreat in a beautiful location
Having just returned from a wonderful week at the villa, I have to say that it has surpassed my expectations in every respect.
Despite viewing the extensive picture gallery on the website, which is also superb, there is always an element of trepardation in visiting a destination abroad for the first time.
I need not have worried - every whim is catered for here and you really do feel as if you are living like a king. The location is breathtaking and the accommodation outstanding in every respect.
Coupled with the refreshingly easy booking system and the engaging enthusiasm from the owner, Andy, I am now very much a guest for life here!
Lovely Spacious Villa
Have just returned from a fantastic week in this lovely villa. Having not been to Portugal for almost 20 years we'd all forgotten how wonderful Portugal is. Weather was near perfect and the location of the villa was great. The gardens of the villa and surrounding properties were really lovely. We made full use of the lovely terraces for al fresco dining and found lots of nice restaurants nearby.
The description on the web site was very accurate and Andy (owner) was very helpful and pleasant.
We would definitely consider returning and recommend it to friends.

a good sized villa plenty of space for 10, pool good size
15 min walk to Alvor so car not needed to get to good resturants and bars every thing you need for a relaxing holiday
