Description

Lucy’s, a unique, detached, 4 Star, self-catering cottage is the idyllic retreat for two. South-facing, the bright and airy accommodation, situated at the bottom of Talland Hill, is slightly elevated and, while conveniently situated in the heart of the village, close to the harbour, pubs and restaurants, offers peace and tranquility.

Personally maintained by the owners, Alan and Jackie Leftly, the cottage offers a high standard of comfort and cleanliness. The accommodation consists of a lounge with co-ordinating furnishings, LCD TV and DVD; a fully equipped kitchen with microwave, electric cooker, fridge and washer-drier; on the same level the well furnished bedroom has a comfortable double bed with feather duvet and crisp, white cotton bedlinen; a couple of steps lead down to the fully tiled bathroom with both bath and shower.

A few steps lead to the sun-trap patio from where you can enjoy views of the sea and surrounding area - the perfect spot for an alfresco meal, or to just relax with a glass of wine at the end of the day.

Parking is in a privately owned, undercover space 600 yards from the cottage. For ease and convenience, cars can be parked outside the cottage to load/unload.

Lucy's is situated within the heart of Polperro, an historic, picturesque fishing village on the South coast of Cornwall. Surrounded by farm and National Trust land, Polperro is renowned for its coastal walks, traffic free streets and quaint cottages. With fishing and pleasure trips provided by local fishermen, several safe beaches nearby, a choice of restaurants and traditional pubs with real fires and real ale, there is something for everyone. The Eden Project, National Maritime Museum, Lost Gardens of Heligan, Tate St. Ives and several National Trust properties, as well as the Camel Trail and Moors are all within easy reach. Available all year, Lucy's is the perfect base to explore Cornwall or just soak up the atmosphere of Polperro.
