Description

Dramatic hillsides and stunning views mean Mill Cottage is situated in the ideal location to explore Perthshire, and beyond.We are 2 miles from the riverside village of Comrie which has many facilities-atm, P.O.,cafes, restaurant,hotels, petrol,2 convenience stores etc.Many activities nearby-golf - Gleneagles is only a 20 min. drive, with another dozen or so nearby,fishing, walking, riding and cycling for the active.Adventure parks keep the children amused.Spot osprey, otters or red squirrels at one of the many wildlife centres or visit some of the lovely gardens.The famous Grouse distillery is nearby in Crieff.Further afield ancient history abounds-castles,battlefields,stone age re-creations.Visit the royal yacht Brittania,take the weight of your legs with a steam train trip, cruise on a Loch or across to the islands.Our central location means the cities of Glasgow & Edinburgh are just over an hours drive away and the coast is about a 1 & 1/2- 2 hour drive east or west for a paddle.

Large TV with Sky. Kitchen fully equipped with oven, microwave, gas hob & dishwasher. Downstairs utility has washing machine & tumble dryer. Master bedroom, with shower en-suite, has king size bed, small TV, twin beds in 2nd bedroom, wall hung small TV, zip & link beds in 3rd bedroom, usually provided as a twin but on request can be made up as a double. All bedding & towels are provided. Main bathroom has separate bath & shower. Seated decking area outside overlooking the burn to enjoy the morning sun & grassed area for evening sun. Washing line in garden. We provide a small welcome pack on arrival.

Bookings within 2 weeks of arrival to be paid in full, in cash, on day of arrival.
* If cancellation of booking within 6 weeks of arrival date, the full cost of the booking is payable. If it is possible to re-let for the period of the booking, a refund will be payable, less the deposit.
* All gas/ electric , bedding & towels are included in the rent. A small supply of logs will be provided.

* The house is beside water so care must be taken with children. The living quarters are upstairs and bedrooms downstairs so anyone having trouble with stairs would have a problem.
