Description
The villa is in StCyprien village which is a quiet and pleasnt Catalan village with shops, restaurants and a small supermarket. There are bakeries, vegetables and a charcuterie [meats, cooked and plain] as well as hair salons and pharmacies. The situation is in a near cul-de-sac with plenty of safe parking around.
The villa itself is on 2 floors. Downstairs are 2 bedrooms, 1 with 3 singles [could be 4] and the other with a double and a single. There is a separate shower room and separate toilet. Wash hand-basins are in each. Outside there is a shower and laundry room. There is a large American style kitchen/dining/lounge room with a large table to seat up to 16. Seats and a bed settee with free view TV are there.
Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms, one en-suite double and a twin bedded room and one with a large double bed. There is a large bath shower and a separate toilet. Wash hand-basins are in each. There is a large American style kitchen/dining/lounge room with free-view TV available as well local stations and seating including a bed settee.
Outside is the pool with child safe cover and plenty of sun loungers about. There is a large patio with table and chairs as well as a gas BarBQ.
St Cyprien has an International Golf Course with the odd lagoon incorporated within, Horse-riding, Go-Carting, Fishing, Water sports of every description, Diving, Boat trips, Boat hire Charter, Bird watching on the Canet lagoon colonised by pink flamingos, Wine-tasting at the nearby Chateau’s, Sigean African Wildlife reserve on 645 acres, or why not take the yellow train from Villefranche-de-conflent to 5,000ft above sea level for some of the most spectacular views in Europe. Mountain Walking, Water-rafting, Hang gliding, or take in the spas of Amelie-les-bains, visit the wonderful resort of Collioure where many artists such as Matisse and Derain have been inspired by the picturesque landscape. Try all the wonderful restaurants and bars that St Cyprian Marina has to offer – or in season why not go to the beautiful beach bar restaurants and watch the sunset – let the children play in the sand after dinner while you relax with a glass of wine.
For shopping - St Cyprien Village market is held on Thursdays and the plage market [very large one] is held on Tuesdays and Fridays or why not go into Perpignan for the day and enjoy the wide range of shops and restaurants that are available in this exciting City. You could also take the opportunity to visit the Palace of the Kings of Majorca.
From the Villa you would be only around 40 minutes from the frontier or an hour and a half away from Barcelona and Andorra so why not pay a visit to Spain and take advantage of the tax free shopping that parts of Spain can offer! Or if all this is just all too much just relax by the pool or on the miles of Sandy beaches.
For the young ones there is an Aqua land or Argeles Adventure Park and on St Cyprien port in the summer there is a fair! There are also children’s rides available near some of the restaurants and don’t forget the miles of sandy beaches and the beautiful blue Mediterranean Sea there is to play in !! Depending on the time of year and on which weeks you are here there are also many firework displays and fetes!

There is a superb pool that has a child safe cover. It is also not deep being a similar depth all along the length so children should not get out of depth. It operates automatically and needs little maintenance apart from regular cleaning which there are instructions for doing.
