The large lounge has DSTV and leads to a separate dining room. The fully equipped open plan kitchen has all major appliances and an american ice making frig. The utility area has a washing machine, tumble dryer and dish washer and a stable door opening on to the back garden. The terrace at the front of the property has beautiful Indian Ocean views and a covered terrace at the back leads to the pool and garden. There is a small private pool and an outside shower at the rear of the house. iMbabala is an eco estate with many buck and other animals living in the surrounding forest. It borders Selborne Golf course with its many amenities and is 3 minutes from Pennington.Umkomaas, 20 minutes away, is one of the world's top 10 diving sites. It lies 35 minutes south of Durban and the new Durban International airport is an hours drive . It is a 2 hour drive into the Drakensburg mountains.
iMbabala Forest Estate borders Selborne Golf club which has an excellent hotel, restaurant and spa. There are many other golf courses nearby including Umdoni (the President's course) which has spectacular ocean views. Pennington is a small village with a few shops but there is a shopping mall in nearby Scottburgh with a large supermarket and many other stores The area around iMbabala is very rural and unspoilt. There are a few resturants nearby including the world class Lynton House. There is a beautiful beach at Pennington (3 mins away) but at Scottburgh(10 mins away) there is a very safe beach for children. Also at Scottburgh there are restaurants and more amenities.Durban, a busy cosmopolitan City, is only 65 Kilometres.
iMbabala is a totally secure gated area with 24 hour security. Access only through main gates.Maid service twice a week.It is attached to Selborne golf course with Umdoni golf course (used to be the president's course) 5 minutes away. There are beautiful walks through Lynton Hall forest and Umdoni golf course to the sea. There is a world class diving site at Umkomaas 20 minutes away.
