Description
A spacious family sized 2 bedroomed self-catering apartment with balcony overlooking the beautiful Rhodopi Mountains and Observatory set within the well-known and established Snezhanka Hotel in Pamporovo, Bulgaria. The apartment will sleep 6.
The skiing, which is perfect for beginners and intermediate skiers and boarders and two fantastic new blue runs opened for 2010 - part of planned piste development which is on-going. It also has challenging black runs including the famous "Wall".
This comfortable apartment has 1 king-sized bedroom with bedside tables, wardrobes and dressing table, 1 twin- bedroom with wardrobes and dressing table, large sitting room with two sofa-beds (ideal for smaller guests), coffee table, TV and sideboard. The apartment also has a spacious hallway with coat stand and storage cupboard, kitchen with dishwasher, oven, hob and table to seat 6 and large shower room. The apartment is fully centrally heated and is warm, cosy and welcoming after a day out on the slopes.
There is a free ski-bus to the slopes and your equipment can be left at interski-pamporovo, just a short ski from the main lift. Buses run regularly back and for the slopes and a time table is displayed in the hotel foyer.
Hotel Snezhanka boasts excellent facilities including two restaurants, a well stocked bar, swimming pool, jacuzzi, gym, hairdresing/beauty salon, pool table, internet cafe and gift shop. It is situated within easy walking distance of the heart of the village and the bowling alley, numerous shops, restaurants and bars and ice-skating rink. Pamporovo resort has lots of activities to keep you busy including ski-doo tours and husky dog sledge tours.
A variety of airlines (Easyjet, Bristish Airways, Thomas Cook and others) fly into Sofia (the capital) which is approximately 3 hours drive from Pamporovo. You can hire a car or we can arrange transfers for you - please enquire for details. Ryanair has also started direct charter flights to Plovdiv (about 40 minutes from Pamporovo) on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Flight prices (as of September 2011) start from around £150 return to include taxes.

Pamporovo is the sunniest ski resort in Bulgaria, situated at 75 km away from the second largest town Plovdiv. It is located on the Snezhanka peak, 1650 m over the sea level. The total length of the ski tracks in the region is around 35 km, and the length of the rope-lines is 12 km. The resort provides perfect conditions for winter and summer vacations in a delightful mountain atmosphere, magnificent forests and great many opportunities for entertainment
