This beautiful modern 3 bedroom villa which has been interior designed to the highest standard is set only a short drive away from the main Albuferia Town Centre and stunning beaches of the Algarve coast. Situated in the quiet and quaint Portuguese village of Paderne, the Villa offers holiday makers a very safe and family friendly environment with a stunning outdoor pool suitable for all ages.

Notes on accommodation

The Villa is part of an small development of 20 Villas which has a security gate at the top which can be opened via a 4 digit security code. There is also a pedestrian side gate with pathway leading to the Villa. Garden is fully enclosed with patio overlooking the shared pool area. The area is well lit and you are most welcome to have a midnight swim! Sun loungers and umbrella are provided for the pool.

Accessibility

The Villa is two storey and has not been specially adapted for wheelchair access and doorways are of standard size.

Outside

The garden is completely secure and has a mix of patio and lawn areas. A covered BBQ area is provided for guests use. The garden overlooks the shared pool area and provides for a beautiful view especially in the evening as the sun goes down and your sipping your glass of wine! The pool has both shallow and deep ends and can be accessed by a set of gradual steps. The Italian mosaic tiled pool has underwater lights for night time swimming and acts as a lovely backlight to the terrace and gardens. A short walk to local bars/cafes is the perfect way to relax after a long day in the sun and there are a number of local Portuguese restaurants in the area of very high quality and great value. For those who like to walk and stroll around, there are a number of quiet trails which take you past the many orange groves with beautiful and stunning views of the area.

Coast/Beach

There is plenty of choice when it comes to local beeches but our favourites include Praia Da Gale and Praia Da Falesia which are both a 20 minute drive by car. The first has a long sandy beach with plenty of cafes/bars for your enjoyment. The second beach takes its name from the fascinating gouged red cliffs that form a backdrop to the endless stretch of sand. As these cliffs are not very tall it makes access convenient whilst acting as a suitable barrier to any winds from the north.

Golf

Enjoy some of the greatest golf courses in Europe within a short distance from the Villa including championship courses at Vale do Lobo, Quinta do Lago, Vila Sol, Old course Villamoura, San Lorenzo, Penina, Palmares and many more. On-site property manager can organise mini-bus transport for golfers and groups.

Special interest holidays

Ideal for walking holidays and exploring the surrounding countryside. Historic Paderne Castle is only minutes away from the Villa by car.

Travel

The Villa is 25 mins drive from Faro International Airport and is conveniently located off the A22 Motorway. This area of the Algarve is very central and is perfect for access to all the great golf courses and beaches in the area. For those who want to explore a little further and do some sightseeing, the Villa is 10 mins from the main Motorway to Lisbon which is a 2 hour drive. A car is not essential for a stay in the Villa but is advised if you want to go to the main shopping areas or beaches.

Further details

The village of Paderne itself, with its historic castle, has a number of restaurants, Bank/ATM machine, chemist and shops selling all the basics you need. Algarve Shopping in Guia is 20 mins drive and has a huge hypermarket and also offers 10-pin bowling, numerous restaurants, shops and boutiques and a cinema complex. Other attractions including the beautiful Monchique Mountains arell within easy driving distance. The popular Slide and Splash Waterpark is 35 mins by car and is open from Easter to the end of October each year.

Zoomarine with its famous Dolphin shows is 25 minetus by car and offers a great day out for all the kids and family.

When two price bands cross, the price will be calculated on a pro-rata, daily rate basis, of the weekly rental price.
