Description
Privately situated, self catering, thatched chalet, with own wooden decked private patio overlooking a dam which attracts local birds, resident impalas and vervet monkeys.
The Chalet sleeps 6 guests and has 2 double bedrooms with a loft area which sleeps a further 2 people.The loft has its own cosy balcony ideal for sunset viewing. The main bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with a bath while the second bathroom has a shower.
The open plan kitchen, dining room (6 seater) and lounge is ideal for a relaxed ambience. The fully equipped kitchen is complete with fridge/freezer, stove and microwave, crockery, cutlery and small appliances to give you that home away from home feeling.
Kruger Park Lodge is situated in Hazyview, merely 1 km from a shopping centre that has a large Pick 'n Pay and Spar. However, the tranquillity, beautifully layed out gardens, constant flow of the Sabi River and herd of impala that can roam freely on the property, give it that bush-type feeling which the Lowveld is renowned for.
Hazyview is approximately 400 km from Johannesburg and only 60 km from the Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport.
The sub tropical climate makes this an ideal holiday destination throughout the year and the summer heat is often cooled by a short thunderstorm.

Impala are able to roam freely making this an unforgettable experience.

Directions
Guests from abroad can fly to OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg. Here they have the option to catch a domestic flight to the Mpumalanga Kruger International Airport in Nelspruit or travel by car. The latter is approximately a 4-5 hour trip (420 km).
Travelling from Johannesburg: Take the N4 towards Witbank and then continue to Nelspruit. This is a well maintained freeway and the simplest route. There are more scenic options that can be taken that are of equivalent distance.
In Nelspruit turn left onto the R40 and travel towards White River. In White River continue along the R40 to Hazyview and then turn left onto the R538. Continue for about 2 km, then turn right onto the R 536 (Portia Shabangu Drive). Kruger Park Lodge is 1 km down the road on the left.
Sign in at security and then travel to reception for key collection.
