Villa Shirles is situated in the prestigious residential area of Sabatara Moraira, a small attractive resort located halfway between Alicante and Valencia, approximately 1 hour and 1,1/2 from from either airports by motorway AP7.
within a few minutes walk are supermarkets, newsagents, restaurants and bars, plus go karting.
Moraira town with its sandy beach is patrolled by lifeguards. It also boasts parks, children play area and fun fair. There is also a large marina (open to the public), with many restaurants and a variety of shops and bars. There is also a weekly open market (Fridays).
The town of Moraira has grown from a a pretty fishing village to an attractive and
charming holiday resort. There is a pleasant absence of high rise apartments. All
this is less than 5 minutes drive from the villa .There are many places to visit along the coast. Javea is a lovely old town with a famous Golf course and as the holiday
leaflets states it probably has the best climate in the world.Denia. also with its
famous golf course and Moraira's St jamie 9 holes.course.Moraira Lies between
Javea and Calpe with its famous rock and renowned fish restaurants.Inland you will
find the beautiful Jalon valley.the historical town of Guardalest.The Algar waterfall
Altea and many other typically spanish towns Benidorm with its famous palace, team and waterparks,Terra Mitica and Aqualandia is only 35 minutes drive away.

recommended The Villa is situated in a peaceful little Village called Sabatera which is quite close to Moraira Town. It is not necessary to hire a car but we do recommend having one as the price of a taxi from, and return to either Airport would cost more than the car rental for the week. and you would have the car for visiting all the lovely places in and around the area |

Moraira - The changes in Moraira attracts and captures both the holiday maker and those wishing for a new lifestyle on the Costa Blanca. Although this sleepy little fishing village is no more, it still retains a wealth of charm, beauty, peace and friendly locals. It is dotted with pine trees, sandy beaches and rocky coves along the coast road. and spanned by the beautiful blue Mediterranean sea. Modern alterations to the village, such as buildings, road systems etc have been thoughly planned and executed by the town hall, allowing no permission to any high-rise structures which would spoil the skyline. Moraira has a wide choice of restaurants and bars to choose from in the town and surrounding area. You can find Spanish, Italian, French,English, and German cusine. So whatever takes your fancy for a traditional Sunday lunch, or if want to try a typically Spanish Paella, you are spoilt for choice. There are some great restaurants around the sea front offering fresh locally caught fish, at very fair prices. There is also an opens market in the main car park every Friday morning, where you can buy locally produced fruit and veg amongst many other things. and at nights a fun fair for the children, Moraira has quite a few fiestas, the most famous being the Moors and Christians in June. People line the streets to watch the marching parades, listen to the bands, Veiw the stunning, colourful costumes and generally have a good time. The firework displays are always quite excellent, and are always very loud! The firework displays is beautiful, with fireworks being set off over Moraira's main beach. Discover the small, typically Spanish town of Teulada. also with many nice restaurants which offers traditional Spanish menus of seafood and rice dishes.also Visit the San Vicente Ferrer wine cellar, with some of the best local and regional wines. A single track railway runs from Denia to Alicante,(Both Ways stopping at all stations) stopping also at Teulada station, not too far from Moraira. This is a very scenic ride going through the mountains and following the coastline, giving some impressive views along the way.

We Supply Maps from the Airports directly to the Villa and do have an agent looking after the villa in Spain.On receipt of Full payment we supply our agents phone number and address so that you can get in touch if you have any prblems or require any assistant while staying at the Villa.We do supply a meet and greet service but unfortunately in the peak periods if she is busy and unable to meet you we supply the location of the keys and remote control for the drive gate so you can let yourself in and make yourself at home,and she will be with you as soon as she can. If your Flight is a late one and you require some rations bought in she will also get them for you and you can reimburse her when she comes to see you.
Lovely Villa
My huband and I spent 2 weeks (14th June-28th June 2008) at the lovely Villa Shirles which is situated in a private street in the Sol Park area. This delightful villa was a real home from home as everything was provided for a very comfortable stay. We loved the pool area but we particularly enjoyed the beautiful gardens where we would sit and soak up the sunshine well into the evening. There is a tennis club with restaurant and bar and another bar/cafe within walking distance. Moraira itself is about an 8 Euros taxi fare and has a wonderful selection of restaurants to suit all tastes. Pedro and Shirley were very helpful when booking the villa and provided map, directions etc and would have arranged for essential groceries to be left in the villa should you wish. We would recommend Villa Shirles to our family and friends and we hope to return in 2009
