This recommended drive ,takes you up into the hills through attractive scenery to the picturesque little town of Mijas, passing other typical Andalusian villages such as, Alhaurin el Grande on the A387 and Coin on the A366. On your return to the coast, after Coin turn onto the A355 following the signs OJEN- Marbella to Monda. Continue on the A355 which now heads south towards Ojen Marbella.
The area of Mijas Costa, is marked by lots of pretty coves and beaches with housing complexes (urbanizations) behind. The Mijas municipality covers an impressive 148 sq km and includes two major urbanisations, Sitio de Calahonda and Riviera del Sol, where this apartment is situated .

Within a very short driving distance , you are spoiled for choice. The best beaches, excellent tennis facilities , Water Parks, and over 50 top quality Golf Courses to choose from. Miraflores ,Calanova , El Chaparral, Cabopino, Santa Clara and Rio Real are the closest to the apartment.
If Snow Skiing is what you want , Sierra Nevada, is only 2½ hours drive.
