A great place to stay
We organized our trip from the USA and the owner was incredibly helpful. He even assisted us in finding a short-notice accomodation for a member of our party arriving earlier. There were six of in the house, two kids, two parents, and two grandparents, and we all had ample room. The children's games were a nice touch, and the house in excellent condition. I would highly recommend staying here!
ideal break
Had a great stay .so close to the town great for the kids with the park in full view.lovely walks melrose has every thing you would need ,house immaculate will defiantly return.
Gem Property in fantastic location
We used this property whilst visiting family in the area and were delighted with the standard of accommodation as well as the standard of care and attention to detail from Kevin, the owner. The welcome bottle of wine and shortbread were much appreciated as was the immaculate property, with a few nice extra touches - something as simple as hand soap and hand lotion in the bathroom, with a couple of loo rolls! Plenty of crisp, fresh towels and everything you might need - down to the clothes pegs and bin liners. We've rented properties before where there is nothing - not even salt and pepper. The built in fridge wasn't keeping things very cold and we asked Kevin to look at it whilst we were out - we returned to find a brand new freestanding fridge freezer in the kitchen, with the redundant fridge removed and converted back to a cupboard!! What service and all with a smile. We will definitely be back when we need to visit my homeland again. The setting and the scenery is perfect - something I'd always taken for granted when living locally - the weather was pretty dismal for July/Aug, but nothing could dampen our spirits over this property.
Great location
House is situated beside a great park which is ideal for young and old kids. The town is just a few minutes walk from the house. The town has everything you need from a supermarket, clothes shops!!!!!!! and good eating places. The house itself is a great size for a family or group of friends, immaculate inside and out and has all the mod cons you need.Owner is only a phone call away if you need any advice or help. The town of Kelso which isnt far is a must especially tea nad scones at Floors castle.
