Our apartment is located top floor of the building and has been completely renovated, a home from home and has everything that you need, large leather sofa to relax on, solid wooden floors, log burning stove, fully fitted kitchen with breakfast bar, modern bathroom.
Its location is perfect, one road back from the main high street and right next door to the town's leisure facilities, of which our summer guests have free access too.
The top floor location of the apartment and the two balconies enable you to take in the breathtaking views over Mayrhofen and surrounding villages.
With the leisure complex next door with in door and out door pools, saunas, jacuzzi etc. Our guests have free entry to the outdoor facilities which this leisure complex offers, not only a great saving but great location as it is next door!
Our apartment offers ideal accommodation to take full advantage of all the door step activities both in the winter and summer seasons.
It has 2 double bedrooms, the main bedroom has a king size bed with plenty of storage for all your needs, and a patio door leads you to one of the apartments balconys.
The second bedroom has two single beds, bedroom furniture along with window giving you amazing views over the A-Horn ski run. A child's put up bed or travel cot also available on request to go into this bedroom.
The apartment is ideally situated next to Mayrhofens indoor and outdoor water park 'Erlebnisbad Mayrhofen'. In the summer it's open air adventure pool and the outdoor play activities, offers fun for the whole family, from experienced swimmer to sun worshipper. In the winter, after the skiing, the indoor pool, sauna's and jacuzzi are a must. Mayrhofen is located at 630m above sea level in the upper Zillertal, and is over 800 years old. A traditional, yet modern town, in the heart of the Tyrol, Austria. Traditional working farms are opposite trendy café bars and restaurants, giving a taste of history along side modern day life. Winter Activities include skiing, and there are 9 cross-country ski circuits totalling 41km in length, but if skiing is not your thing…. choose from toboggan runs, an ice-rink, ice curling, paragliding, 45km of cleared hiking trails, horse drawn sleigh excursions, 2 natural sledging runs (the longest illuminated sled fun in Zillertal Valley is 7.5km) snow shoe hiking, snow tubing, guided ice tours and ice climbing.... then enjoy a sauna or a swim at the in-door pool. In winter, Mayrhofen offers a wide variety of ski runs and off-piste skiing with direct access to runs of 157 km. The Penken (up to 1,800m) and the A Horn (up to 1,955m) mountains have a total of 49 lifts. Skiing is good for advanced, intermediates, and for beginners. Another plus is the direct access to the Hintertux Glacier – skiing all year round on the 18 km of runs. The ski run called "Harakiri" is a big attraction, it is the steepest, groomed run in Austria and is only recommend for excellent skiers. For Snowboarders… we have the ‘Vans Penken Park’ is situated in Horberg Penken high valley in the area. The Park has already been voted for several years one of the best parks in Europe, proving to be an important factor in the Austrian freestyle scene for the last six years. Many Austrian and international pro's call the Vans Penken park their home and can be regularly seen shredding there. Via the Inntal motorway (A12) until the "Zillertal" exit, and from there 30 km along the Zillertal Highway (B169). On entering Mayrhofen on the B169 Umfahrungsstrasse go straight over the first roundabout towards the town centre, passing the train and bus station on your right hand side. Take the next left into Einfahrt Mitte where the Elizabeth Hotel, Hervis and the Post office will be on your right hand side. At the cross roads go straight over at the crossing, then take the first right into Waldbadstrasse. After 300 metre you will reach a junction, go straight over. Our apartment can be found on the left hand side after approximately 150 metres. If you go past ‘Erlebnisbad’ leisure complex on your left you have gone too far, the apartment is the building immediately before this.
Superb Central Family Ski Apartment
Perfect apartment,location and setting! Everything you could want for a real home from home holiday experience. Tracey provides a terrific service with lots of advice and information on arrival. Close to shops and restaurants, yet in a very quiet location. A terrific find we have been skiing in the alps for more than 25 years and this is easily the best apartment we have rented. I would recommend this property to those who appreciate quality in a terrific setting.
Luxury Base for all Summer Activities
We had a wonderful week exploring some of the many summer activities that Mayrhofen has to offer - paragliding, canyoning, mountain-biking and hiking. The weather in mid September was incredible. Tracy and Steve's apartment was home from home and we couldn't have wished for a more stylish and comfortable place to relax. Central but amazingly quiet, light and bright, modern and with everything we needed, it gets a 100% recommendation. And thank you Tracy for looking after us so well!
Lovely Apartment with Fabulous Views
What a find! Absolutely delighted with apartment,well furnished and is very cosy, being at the top of the house under the eaves.The views are absolutely fabulous, definitely worth the climb up the stairs! Great to be met by Tracy on arrival, who gave us lots of helpful advice on things to do, and where to shop and eat. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend it, and we're looking forward to going back. WOW.... WHAT VIEWS!!!!
Fantastic for a summer or winter holiday. The views from the apartment are stunning whether you are eating breakfast al fresco or having an evening meal watching the twinkling lights of Finkenburg as the sun goes down. The apartment itself was pristine when we arrived and has everything you could possibly need. All was in excellent condition.
The proximity of the bakers was wonderful for fresh croissants in the morning and the bread was excellent too!

thank you for all your help and a perfect week, apartment is so cozy and comfortable. Doudle-side window on the second floor lighten the lounge area and makes additional charm. Penkenbahn lift is only a couple of minutes walk, yes it's true, but the Ahornbahn is also close to apartments - no car and skibus needed.
Snowboarding in March in Mayrhofen is perfect. But one week is not enough. We'll visit you again and stay for 2 wks. Thank you!
Great views and location
Apartment is in a great spot in the centre of the town, with brilliant views from the balconies. A short walk from the main lift and to the many bars. The apartment is very modern and has all the amenities you could want. All in all a little gem and you will not be disappointed by a stay here.

Exceeded our expectation, finished to a very high standard & truly is a home from home, everything anyone would need. Location is excellent with magnificent views of Mayrhofen,valley & mountains. Eating breakfast/dinner looking out over Mayrhofen from the apartment will be a special memory. Minutes walk lifts, main street even closer but still a quiet location. Apartment Sommerfelder is great for a Winter or Summer holiday. We loved it so much we didnt want to come home!!!!!!!
