We are located close to the main square Jemaa el Fnaa which is about 5 minutes walk away.
Once you are on the square ask for Café France.
With Café France on your right hand side, Derb Dabachi is in front of you.
Count 3 small streets (derbs) on the right.
Derb Jamaa has bright green and gold flower pots all the way along and a ' Amicale Derb Jamaa Dabachi' sign painted on one of the arches.
Turn right and then keep on keeping left until you reach number 93.
Modern comfort right in the heart of the Medina
We had a great stay here at Riad Linda in October 2009. The Riad itself is clean, fresh and very comfortable, we felt very safe and secure. The bedrooms are a good size and beautifully presented with en-suite facilities. There's a good kitchen which is well equipped if you want to cook. There is plenty of room to lounge around in the sun on the rooftop terraces or in the ground floor seating area by the water feature. We can highly recommend Riad Linda
An oasis of calm amidst the chaos and excitement of the Medina.
Riad Linda is a cleverly modernised traditional Morrocan townhouse right at the heart of the old town offering all mod cons. There is a super roof terrace.Great for sunbathing or relaxing in the evening.
Those of a retiring nature or European sensibility may find The Medina a bit of a culture shock, but you soon learn to negotiate the colourful and noisy throngs.
Loads of things to see and do and plenty of local eateries, mostly inexpensive,to try.
Highly recommended.
Excellent, centrally located Riad in Marrakech
Riad Linda is about 5 minutes walk from the main square of Marrakech .
The riad is newly renovated and has been furnished in a traditional style. The accommodation is spacious and colourful. The roof terrace is excellent and has good views all round, on winters days you can see the Atlas Mountains .
The concierge, Sayed, is very helpful and speaks some English.
I would highly recommend Riad Linda for a break in Marrakech
Hospitality and cleanliness in a magical setting
If you want to feel like a local, this is the place for you. Hidden in the widing streets of the old town, without a tourist in sight is the stunning Raid Linda.
The Riad was absoluetly charming, unbelievably spacious and clean. The staff helpful and quiet.
Minutes away from the famous square at the centre of the city, insures that there is plenty to do. The anemities of the new town, are only a short taxi ride away.
My Amazing Moroccan Wedding
I organised a holiday and wedding for 28 people travelling together, it was very difficult for me to do so but Linda was so helpful and reassuring that it made life very easy for me! She helped me find accomodation for all my guests including Riad Linda. My Guests at Riad Linda thouroughly enjoyed their stay the rooms were lovely. Linda had provided me with many contacts for everything i needed to do whilst i was in Marrakesh so i was in touch with reliable people as soon as i got there! Thank you Linda for all your help!!
Thank you Riad Linda
It has been an experience. Breakfast on the roof terrace was very refreshing. It has ben very relaxing coming back to Riad Linda after the busy hustle of the souks. great location and would highly recommend. Kind and helpful staff.
Great location, superb quality accommodation
Don't be put off by the winding walk along the narrow street to finally arrive at this Riad. Once there, you will find superb and spacious rooms, excellent staff and courteous service. The Riad has a superb relaxing roof terrace and very welcome air-con in the bedrooms. The route to and from the Riad becomes suprisingly easy to navigate and you are on the doorstep of the main suqare and activities yet just far enough away to find the tranquility of calm on the roof tarrace area. Superb location and I woudl certainly have no hesitation in using this Riad again.
Nice place for a stay in Marrakech Medina
We had a lovely time at Riad Linda. Its a nice small Riad in the Medina - not far from everything in Marrakech. We have done the whole sightseeing by walk - it was a easy to find everything. On the roof of the Riad we had some nice relaxing hours - enjoying brakfast, sunshine and blue sky.
Thanks to Linda and her staff that we could enjoy our time in Marrakech again.
A very welcome home from home
I travelled with my daughter (in her twenties) for a special break in Marrakech, having never been there before. I was completely unprepared for the shear madness of the place, but from the moment we were met by the driver at the airport right until the moment we were ushered into a taxi 3 days later, we were made to feel truly welcome and like friends by the Riad staff. The driver took us as far as he could towards the Riad on arrival, then picked up Waheed who walked us with our cases the rest of the way - past the madness of the souks and down the narrow Derb (watching out for donkey carts and motorbikes!). On arrival, Rachid welcomed us and Fadela had prepared a wonderful chicken tagine. We had the pink double room, which although basic, was very comfortable with an excellent shower. The next morning, I met Linda (the Scottish owner - who was there for a few days herself), who gave me some tips which proved very useful. The Riad terrace is a very pleasant place to sit, and we got great weather in which to enjoy it. The building has been recently renovated and Linda is a proud owner indeed. As our holiday progressed, we became more and more glad of our little retreat only a few minutes from the square. It meant that we could take the sensory overload of this city in bite-size pieces, punctuated by small rests back at the Riad. The souk experience is not to be missed, the haggling (even for a taxi ride) becomes quite enjoyable after a while, and the calls to prayer become quite soporific after the first crazy one during the night (at 5am every day!!). We learned to dodge the hordes, the animals, the bikes and cars, and the carts with dexterity. But beware of some of the people in the square who will demand money for any type of interaction and will herd you into their restaurant/souk/henna sitting at every opportunity - advice is just not to get into a conversation unless you want to buy something. We loved the little kids hanging outside the riad next door and the smells which waft past while relaxing on the terrace, and Fadela's plentiful breakfasts were just fabulous. And on our last day, a taxi was organised to take us to our next hotel (which believe me, would not have been easy to do on our own), and the guys gave my daughter flowers as it was her birthday. A truly memorable holiday - thank you, Linda, for sharing your home.
a serene stay in the midst of the medina
Don't be put off by the approach to the Riad Linda, inside, all is very tranquil. The rooms are comfortable, the proximity to "the square" is great and the staff were all really helpful. Rachid was great in organising our room for us, and gave us lots of very useful local info. Fadila cooked a lovely meal for our first evening and breakfast was very enjoyable. I am not certain how Wouddi 's name is spelt, but he was always there to help and was brilliant making our breakfast on our last morning at 6.30am for us to catch the early Ryanair flight to Luton.
We had an interesting and very enjoyable trip Marrakech and the Riad Linda gave us a great retreat from the intensity of the Madina.
