We have just returned from this 5* property - well beyond our expectations and one of the best we have ever stayed in. Our only disappointment was that it was already booked for next August ! For those considering booking, do not hesitate, you will be disappointed if availability has gone by the time you decide! Prime location for buses along the Marbella cost line which makes a car not necessary. Local shops and restaurants easily accessable by foot with a good choice, even late in the season. Extremely clean and tastefully decorated - a credit to the owners. Customer service from booking to return by the owners is to an excellent standard ! Many thanks for letting us share your appartment.

Relaxing and Luxurious
we booked this holiday as we wanted a week away in the sun for my husbands 50th birthday, near enough to town centres if we needed anything, but also far enough away for us to just relax and do nothing. we were greeted by gemma, who was extremeley helpful and gave us all of the local information that we needed, in regard to things like public transport frequency and her personal preference on some restaurantes. albert and aleysha had left a bottle of wine in the apartment, but also sent a bottle of bubbly for daves birthday. the apartment itself was luxurious, and very spacious, ... deffiantely a home from home. the walk to san pedro was lovely, .... about 20 mins along the beach, where you then come to many beach front bars and tavernas. both puerto banus and marbella were a 15 min bus ride away, and we used to get the bus into town and then get a taxi back, as it cost the same for 4 of us on the bus as it did in the taxi. all in all a thoroughly fantastic holiday, so much so that my daughter is already rebooking for next year. a huge thank you to both albert and aleysha, who have been brilliant from start to finish, and we really appreciate the phone calls that you have made since this booking was initially confirmed

A fantastic apartment that even a premiership footballer would feel at home in! Very nicely designed with plush furnishings gave this place a classy feel. Some nice touches like a bottle of wine on arrival and some milk and water chilling in the fridge so you dont have to worry about supplies. Lovely pool area which was very quiet so reading a book by the pool was possible as was un-interupted sunbathing! Proximity to the beach was more like 50 mins walking there as we went straight on at the roundabout instead of going right. We came back the correct way and that took us about 20 mins. The public beach isnt signposted, but a hotel complex called The Beach is and this is where we went wrong! The public beach has no amienities so go well stocked with a picnic and plenty of water. The apartment block is very close the the main road / motorway (this can be seen from the kitchen and bedroom 2 window) but the noise wasnt a problem. On the other side of this main road is a supermarket, but if you dont have a car, getting a full weeks shop back over the flyover in a supermarket trolley with a 3 year old is neither easy nor enjoyable! If youre a bookworm, try World of Books which is a lovely English run coffee / book shop with very friendly staff. This is at the foot of the flyover on the same side as Supersol. Some great English-type bars, restaurants and shops a short drive away (get a taxi to pick you up on the Supersol side of the main road and drive down towards Estepona for about 5 mins). Great outside play area for the kids at a bar that was formerly a bowls green. (Local taxi drivers will know this place). We found ourselves to be the only family at this apartment complex which was odd as we went in the summer holidays. Normally this would have been fantastic for my partner and I but the kids (8 and 3 yrs) got a little bored with their own company after a while. Falling back on English tv was great for when they started complaining of being bored. Good that you can get Cbeebies etc... but not a full Sky package. Also the DVDs were a nice touch, but they were all in Spanish, so we never watched them! If we went again, we would definately hire a car as waiting for a bus was a bit hit and miss. The buses, when they arrived, were clean, cheap and the drivers understood our questions, even if they didnt speak English. We went to Aqua Land in Torremolenos on the bus (well, coach) and this took about an hour. It dro pped us off in the town though, no where near Aqua Land, so we also had to get a taxi for the last leg as by then the kid were whinging. This was a very expensive day by the way. We also took the bus to Estepona which was lovely. We would recommend a trip there but try and tie it into market night, which I THINK is a Tuesday but I might be wrong. On the whole, our holiday was lovely. The apartment was top notch and having kids, it was very safe. The apartment was fenced and you need a key to get inside the boundry. The balcony is a good height so little people dont climb and fall. Having two bathrooms was a god-send too! We would definately recommend it, but probably to our friends without children based on the fact that its quiet and there are no other children around. Out of 10, this apartment would score a very respectable 7.5 and would come highly recommended by us.

Home from Home
I took a short break with my sisters in March and we were all very pleased with the standard of the complex and with the information provided on the area. The apartment itself is spotlessly clean, spacious and really does have everything you could need. The owners have attended to all the small details – there was a bottle of wine waiting for us when we arrived and water in the fridge. We went early in March (with rain forecast) and yet the weather was hot and sunny. The beaches nearby are beautiful. We walked down through pretty Guadalmina to ‘Albert and Ayesha’s beach’ which was empty apart from the three of us. You can see the coast of Africa from there on a clear day. We had hired a car and found driving and navigating around the towns and cities with our maps and very basic Spanish surprisingly easy. The Picasso Museum in Malaga (Picasso’s place of birth) and the town of Ronda were definitely highlights for me and both can be accessed by bus. We ate out a few times and found Spanish food delicious. But the best thing was being able to come ‘home’, cook a meal and relax in absolute comfort after a long day out. I will certainly be recommending ‘Albert’s place in the sun’ to my friends and hope to visit again myself with longer to explore the region.

A fantastic apartment, fantastic location!
Dear Albert and Ayesha. Many apologies for the late submission of this review. Since we have been back things have been absolutely manic for us but we do want to put pen to paper to express our sincere thanks for the use of your apartment for our holidays. Let me start by stating that we would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending it to anybody although we don't want too many people interested as we will certainly return and don't want to find it all booked up!!! We arrived late in the evening, in fact just before midnight local time. The car hire people you recommended were excellent and we picked up our car with no hitches at all. If we were to travel during a busy period we would certainly take your advice of one person going to organise the car whilst the other collected their baggage. For some reason the paperwork in collecting the car seemed to take quite a long time and if there were a lot of people in the queue this could be quite lengthy. You would certainly want to be at the front of the queue! When we arrived at the apartment we just couldn't believe the size of it and the way it was decorated, the pictures on your website simply do not do it justice. The whole apartment was immaculately presented and absolutely spotless, I would also like to know where you bought the sofa as it was so comfortable that when ours finally reaches the end of its useful life I will be importing one !. It was also great to see a bottle of water in the fridge and a bottle of wine on the table on our arrival. Needless to say we enjoyed both!!. Although not a big fan of television it was good to have the Sky TV available to we could see how lousy the weather was in the UK! I know its sad but it is lovely to see when the weather at home is lashing down with flash floods and fog when we couldn't see a single cloud in the sky…. My phone bill home was massive but this was all down to the gloating I was doing and ringing everybody up to tell them about the apartment and weather! Although we went 'off peak' the weather was fantastic and the other people within the apartments were all very friendly. We didn't actually see that many people but those that we did all knew you and were all very helpful. We then spent a fabulous 10 days in the sunshine and used your apartment as a base to explore the south coast. The beach within walking distance that you had told us about was fantastic, I think we were lucky to see another 5 people on it which was brilliant! The kids loved it! During the days we loved exploring the area and visited most of the local areas of interest including Puerto Banus, Estepona and Ronda. All of these were great days out especially Ronda which was beautiful and well worth the trip through the mountains. I could have spent hours at Puerto Banus and just need to find a rich older woman who will buy me a boat and an Aston Martin! (or even a rich younger woman but I guess these are more rare!) In the evenings it was lovely to sit on the balcony with a bottle or two of wine and just chill. Everything we needed was there although I personally was most impressed with the dishwasher, it was like home from home! What more can I say. A fantastic apartment, fantastic location and fantastic holiday. As you have probably gathered but now we would really like to recommend your apartment to anyone who is interested, so much so that if anybody would like to speak to us for a personal recommendation I enclose my phone number (07801 452743). First Class Apartment
What a Holiday! First class apartment at an affordable rate. We went to Puerto Banus for chill out, and we all think it is the best holiday any of us have taken. Only complaint was that we had to come back. The directions to the apartment are very accurate, and easy to understand. Even though we did not have Sat-Nav, we managed to find our way round very well. Although we didnt go to the Guadalmina beach, we spent most of our time on Puerto Banus beach (excellent). The hot weather (always in its 30s) just added to this great holiday. The first morning we spent a few hours in the pool just playing water polo (a brilliant game) while a few of us were taking in the sun. We were the only ones in the pool area, and the neighbours we did see in the complex were always friendly. The apartment was first class. It is exactly how it is described. The living room area is well catered for with Sky TV, while the balcony is fabulous just to chill out on. The whole complex is a very clean area and looks well maintained. We arrived late on a thursday evening, and Gemma was very polite and kind in showing us to the apartment and being a wonderful host. She even checked on how we doing half way our trip and left some more clean towels, which were very nice of her. We even found some food and some drinks in the fridge which we used as snacks. The apartment has all the amenities and it is a home away from home. The supermarket across the road (can reach by crossing over the bridge) is great, and has everything you could possibly need. Next to the supermarket are some shops and restaurants. The indian restaurant there is definately worth a visit as the food was enjoyed by the whole party. We would all definately come here again, maybe even with families and all recommend it to anyone who just wants a quiet time to relax or to party up and live it large in Puerto Banus, then this is the perfect spot. Only 20mins drive from Puerto Banus marina, this really is the perfect holiday home. I definately will be back with my fionce, as she says I do not shut-up about the holiday and the home. Oh and Albert and Ayesha are really great and polite, and very prompt with all communication. We all felt looked after and in my opinion I think this is what sold the apartment to me, as the hospitility just goes that extra mile. They know what they on about, so people listen to them when they say this is a fabulous place! You wont be dissapointed. Thanks for a great experience! One thing left now, just got to get married!

Sun sea and sand - mix in a little sangria and it seems that you and your friends had a whale of a time! Its not unusual for our guests to have almost exclusive use of the pool and gardens and we are delighted you enjoyed it, but keep in mind, our place also make a perfect romantic getaway.....................so come back soon and bring you families and loved ones with you!

Comfortable, spacious, convenient and beautiful apartment
We decide upon a Winter break in the Marbella area. Aleysha and Albert's apartment was very well equipped and spotlessly clean. It is located about 3 miles from Puerto Banus. Although we used a hire car, public transport seemed to be available nearby. Secure parking was readily available within the gated complex. We found Aleysha and Albert to be very attentive and considerate. They provided a welcoming bottle of wine for us which was a nice gesture. The apartments were adjacent to an up-market residential area. Shopping and restaurants were very convenient accessed via a nearby footbridge. All of the shops, bars and restaurants were of a good quality and modestly priced. The apartment was equipped with plenty of kitchen appliances and cooking facilities although in practice we tended to eat out. We were met nearby by Beverley who was very helpful and friendly. Albert and Aleysha left a good selection of informative literature covering local amenities and attractions. In practice, we visited Gibraltar and the Alhambra Palace in Grenada, both of which were witihin day excursion range. Our visit was in early March. The weather was very pleasant. There was sunshine every day and an average daily temperature of 18 -20 Deg.C. Overall an excellent apartment in a convenient but private location.
