This well outfitted, elegant apartment consists of a lovely one bedroom, with one queen bed and a wall of built-in closets that are separated from the expansive living room / dining area by a ten foot sliding glass wall.
There is optional sofa-bed sleeping for two (usually children or 1 adult) in the living area. The dining area has ample seating for six, with complete service for eight, ideal for entertaining guests.
The apartment has new parquet floors throughout, with a modern tiled kitchen and well appointed, outfitted tile bath. It is air conditioned, about 900ft², and has a 12 foot 6 inch ceiling. Cable TV, a completely stocked laundry with a washer and dryer in a separate private hall and high speed internet access are provided for your convenience.
There is a gym one block away, while the apartment is only a ten minute walk to the nearby financial district, Greenwich Village, Chinatown, Little Italy, World Trade Center site, and four blocks from the new Hudson River Promenade, with much sport activity always going on. The Promenade is a traffic free zone with miles of uninterrupted biking / jogging pedestrian paths along the water that continue all the way uptown, as well as several lovely waterfront parks. There is public tennis, bike rentals, batting cages,trapeze school and a children's only park with splash pool nearby.
The subway and bus stop are just one block away meaning you are under ten minutes to midtown, museums and theater. Taxis on corner. Supermarket and gourmet shopping within walking distance. Tribeca is the center of New York’s film industry, with a spring film festival and frequent celebrity spotting. The area is extremely safe with taxi cabs available at all hours.
