Villa Quinze is situated in Ponta Delgada its a pleasant small village in the northern coast of the wonderful Madeira Island, a newly built villa combining the best of both worlds - a rural setting, where you can sit back and relax let the word go past, and at the same time all the luxury and modern facilities that we have grown accustomed to. All work carried out to a very high standard, we offer a complimentary bar with our family home made liquors. In the study you will find local artefacts and a book swap service. make the most of our games room, we have a table tennis, air hockey table, play station and over 40 DVD to chose from. Free use of a laptop with internet facilities, keeping you in touch with the real world. Satellite TV, 52’’ LCD TV with surround sound home cinema and sound system. Villa Quinze is a world away from the bustle of Funchal, but thanks to the new road system everywhere is now within easy reach. The islands top attractions are only a short drive away making this villa the perfect home away from home, buses are regularly available but car hire is recommended to enjoy all the island has to offer. Ponta Delgada is a pleasant small village in the northern coast, nowadays famous for its ocean water swimming pool with its beach situated with in a protected bay. During your stay with us why not visit the caves of São Vicente and the Volcano Centre. If you prefer sea sports, Clube Naval can provide a variety of surf and windsurf equipments at your disposal. If you like to combine physical exercise with dazzling sceneries, then some local lavada walks is for you.

Fab family holiday
We had a great family holiday here. The villa is really spacious and had lots for the kids to do. We have a 10 yr old and an 8 yr old and they enjoyed the games in the villa and also getting out an about in the hire car to the local villages. The scenery was stunning and the local villages really quaint. We cooked in the villa and the kitchen was really well equipped. We also ate out in the reataurants in the surrounding area and they were excellent value for money. The property was spotlessly clean and was cleaned throughout our stay. I would definitely recommend this villa and the surrounding area. The owners provided us with excellent local information such as where to eat and I can't thank them enough for making our stay such a great experience.

I was fortunate enough to stay in this gorgeous villa in the summer of 2009. The villa is a very comfortable size - there were six adults in our party - and there was more than enough room to accomodate us all.
The villa is in a stunning location, peaceful, quiet, with the glorious views you see in the photos.The property is beautifully decorated throughout, to the highest standards. The garden area and balcony were also well maintained.
I would have no hesitation in recommending the villa and the area ; this was my first visit to Madeira and I am quite sure I will return agan.

We got 2 fantastic weeks holidays at the Villa Quinze. The Villa has everything you need and is conform to the pictures and the descriptions. The location in the North of the Island, in a small village, is charming. The views, the nature, the cities and the roads in the North are far different from the South of Madeira. It's more relaxing, authentic and preserved. Walking along the levadas was so nice and the preferred activity of our two teenagers (14 and 16). The walk was always too short and we discovered always new splendid things. Angela will be your Angel at your service regarding the Villa. We always had our meals on the terrace outside and enjoyed the sea views. You definitely need a car to benefit from all the different possibilities of Madeira. To get a five stars +, only the swimming pool is missing ;-). Restaurant Nani (some 2 – 3 kms before the Villa, coming from Sao Vincente) was our stop in the evening after a walk, a swimming in the ocean (you can find some small and friendly public beaches) or in Porto Moniz (enjoy the waves over your body !). We would recommend this destination and the Villa Quize
What a fantastic villa to stay
What a fantastic villa to stay in on the beautiful island of Madeira. With the new roads around the island this villa is ideally situated for those people who want to stay somewhere other than Funchal, yet still wish to visit all of the main sites; however you do need a car to be able to do this. The villa itself is beautifully presented and very spacious and provides everything you could want to make your stay a pleasure. The villa is within a 25 minute drive of the beautiful town of Porto Moniz with its gorgeous sea filled swimming pools. I would highly recommended Madeira for a holiday destination and this villa for somewhere to stay.
The Northcost was very impressive
We spent two weeks in the Villa Quinze and the villa was very comfortable. We really enjoyed the ocean view! The children enjoyed the garden, the bath, and the television in their rooms. From here we could easily reach every part of the island. Sometimes we had to drive longer than expected. The landlady was very kind and helpful, she even baked us a cake when the Dutch had to play the Footbal Worldchampionship finale.
The Northcost was very impressive, the temperature was very nice. On an occasional cloudy morning, we went to another part of the island. We made beautiful walks, saw the dolphins, went swimming.
I feel we made the right choise to go to the Northcost and to Villa Quinze.
quality of the villa is reflected....
For eight nights we enjoyed staying in this beautiful villa. The quality of the house is reflected in all the minute details, even our two (spoiled?) teenagers were enthusiastic. It was autumn, so we had to endure two days of steady rainfall. But with all the warmth, luxury and beauty of this house, who cares? It gave us the opportunity to watch movies, play games and try the delicious liquors from the bar. And besides, there is always a sunny spot on Madeira which we could track down by checking various webcams on the island, using the villa's laptop. We enjoyed the beautiful and sunny walks in Santana, São Lourenço and along the Levada da Janela, all within good reach from Ponta Delgada. Our favourite hang-out was the sand beach of Machico,with restaurants serving very affordable and delicious meals (pizza, espada/swordfish and espetada /beef brochettes).
Of course I want to compliment the owners for sending a nice booklet and generously sharing their property, and last but not least Angela for giving us a warm welcome, half a bucket of potatoes and a real quick response when we reported an empty gas bottle.
It was nothing short of amazing
In July 2009, I attended a wedding in Madeira and the party I was with opted to stay at Villa Quinze which proved to be a very good choice. It was nothing short of amazing and I got lost in the sprawling sea views and the stunning sunsets made some awsome photographs for my album.
The Villa itself is very modern throughout and professionally decorated. The entertainment area provided us with many hours of relaxation. The bedrooms have en suite and the full modern kitchen was a pleasure to prepare meals in.
Villa Quinze is located in a very picturesque village with friendly locals. It definitley gives you a feeling of complete serenity and the breathtaking views will linger for a long time. I was very taken back by Villa Quinze and would recommend it to anyone wanting to get away to relax.
