Goose Nest House is ideal for families and friends. Set within the award-winning Lower Mill Estate with its luxury spa with indoor and outdoor heated swimming pool, sauna, steam room and gym all available free for your use. Luxury pampering treatments using organic products are also available.
The bedrooms have luxury mattresses, crisp white Eqyptian cotton linen and two open directly onto decking over looking the lake. The bathrooms have quality fittings and wonderful power showers.
The well-equipped kitchen has all that you require, from a double oven with five hobs, microwave, full height fridge-freezer and the all important dishwasher as well as a separate utility room with washer-drier so you can concentrate on your holiday.
But it is the stunning open-plan living area that will take your breath away - with vaulted ceiling, oak flooring, a modern wood-burning stove and leather sofas decorated in muted tones to complement the wonderful view of Somerford Lagoon, the largest of seven lakes in the private nature reserve.
The Lower Mill Estate also has a small shop selling organic local produce, children's play grounds and a tennis court.

Fabulous family friendly property
We have stayed at goose nest on more than 1 occasion and each time the house has been great. It is ideally set up for families with lots of extras that really make a difference. Dealing with the owners was a pleasure & they were very helpful with suggestions about where to go & what to do in the locality. The house is clean & well equipped with stunning lakeside views, a peaceful oasis. Great spa too & our children love the pools.
Pure relaxation
We've stayed at Goose Nest a few times now and have had a perfect stay every time (hence going back again and again!). The house is immaculate, and very well equipped (including toys for the little ones to give us big ones a bit of time to ourselves!) ~ the owners really have thought of everything you could possibly need. The beds are sooooo comfortable and everything has a feeling of luxury about it.
The views over the lake from the balcony are stunning from morning through to watching the stars at night - literally 'heavenly'!
The spa and swimming pools are fantastic too and my family and I have spent many a happy hour relaxing and enjoying ourselves here.
We love it all!
