Pequena Casa Quadrada (The Little Square House) is located amongst rolling hills and countryside away from the hustle and bustle of the traditional tourist resorts. You are guaranteed a quiet and relaxed atmosphere from the moment you arrive. The nearest village is Benafim (3 mins drive) and a little further on you will find the beautiful picturesque village of Alte with it's charming cobbled streets and whitewashed houses. Salir, Messines, Boliqueme and Silves are other towns within the locality, that are certainly worth a visit. All with plenty of restaurants and local bars.

The town of Loule is just a 15 min drive away. Make sure you visit the gypsy market here on Saturday mornings. The resorts of Villamoura, Quarteria and Albufeira along with their many beaches and golf courses are all within 30 mins drive from the house.

In the surrounding hills you will find many varieties of different fruits and nuts amongst the orange, peach and lemon groves.
