Loule, which is but a 5 minute drive away, has a daily fresh food market, good shops including a number of supermarkets and plenty of excellent Restaurants. Faro Airport is only 25 minutes from the house and the nearest Beaches and Golf Courses are all within a 30 minute drive, as are the bars and bright lights of Albufeira.

The website www.skyscanner.net is a good way to find flights. It gives you the price of the cheapest flights from a selection of airlines for a selected day, week or month.
If you are arriving by air, then you should fly to Faro. If you are coming by rail, there is a station in Loule.
Full directions to the farmhouse, including a map, are provded by the owner
In either case you will need to hire a car - unless you are driving to Portugal - and the owner can arrange this for you, or if you prefer to do this yourself, there are plenty of car hire firms that operate from faro airport including Hertz, Avis and a number of local companies.
Depending on how you intend to arrive in the Algarve, the owner will also provide you with directions and a route map for you to drive to the property

Another wonderful week at Q da E which we all enjoyed enormously. Weather was marvellous: 30 degrees during the day but cool at night and NO mossies.A number of the stallholders in the market recognised us which was fun. Everything was in good order and your agent Isabel offered to come and see us and to brief Sarah King (my Tom's girlfriend) on the house. We are all thinking seriously about going back for a week next year and I'll let you know in good time if that idea looks like coming good.
P.S. My Tom's view of Q da E may amuse you: "If it was for sale and I had the money, I'd buy it !"
