The bedrooms in L'Amandier are over two floors. The Yellow & Blue bedrooms are to the rear of the ground floor and share a large shower room with separate wc. They are stylishly decorated with views out over the landscaped grounds and the countryside beyond. Both have the most luxurious 6ft beds, feather & down duvets & pillows (unless requested otherwise) and are dressed with crisp white bedlinen. With whitewashed floorboards and pretty rugs they make lovely peaceful retreats. The rooms are both large and have space for cots or extra put-u-up beds for small children.

On the first floor the three further bedrooms are grouped around the large mezzanine 2nd lounge/play area.

Each room has comfortable twin divan beds (please ask if you would like the rooms set up as doubles) with padded headboards and pretty country furniture. There's lots of space for cots if needed. The bedrooms share a bathroom with seperate shower and separate WC.

The bedrooms are all comfortably furnished with eith 6ft double beds or twin beds (that can be set up as 6ft doubles as require). We also have cots available for babies as required.

Well equipped bathrooms with separate WCs. Luxuriously soft bath sheets and swimming towels are provided.

Hand built and hand painted by a local artisan with the added luxury of granite worksurfaces - this is a great kitchen well above the usual specification of a holiday home. With a fabulous 6:4 Aga (conventional cooker with gas hob and ovens), bosch dishwasher and fully equipped with crockery from John Lewis plus some pretty pottery pieces for our local area. There is plenty of kitchen equipment and crockery, glasses, etc for a really large party! The pale oak dining table extends to seat 12 for cosy evenings or large family lunches.

Tall windows look out from the dining area, overlooking the shady terrace to the front of the house.

Inside the oak table seats up to 12 and outside an even more monumental heavy pine table has ample room for up to 14 guests.

Shaded by an ancient almond tree and automatic awning and with the added advantage of a large permenant barbecue -

Dine inside or out - there's loads of space with everything close at hand and thought out just for you!

The whole of the ground floor living space has exposed stone walls and hand made terracotta floor tiles. The hardwood stairs are carpeted as is the upstairs.

The monumental fireplace fitted with a log burning stove and framed by dramatic candle sconces dominates the sitting room. Comfy leather sofas and armchairs are grouped around this cosy spot and the TV with UK Sky is tucked away a stylish built in cupboard.

You'll love everything about this house! With great outdoor space and renovated with stylish comfort in mind, this is a truly special place! Great for a long or short break!

The sunny terrace around two sides of the house is fantastic for outdoor living, with two dining areas plus a large permenant barbecue. The terrace is shaded by an ancient almond tree and has an automatic awning to shade you from the midday sun!

Doubly hardwood doors open into the living room - completely renovated, wonderful exposed stone walls, terracotta floors and a monumental fireplace with log burning stove to keep you snug on chilly low season evenings. Two giant leather sofas and a couple of 'Fired Earth' library chairs help to make a really great spot for relaxing (the TV with satelilite is hidden in a corner cupboard).

At the other end of the living room is the large kitchen/diner. The kitchen is handmade by a local artisan and has fabulous solid granite worksurfaces and best of all, an AGA 6:4 conventional cooker - a real touch of luxury! The light oak dining table will extend to seat up to 12. A french door opens onto the side of the terrace and the smaller of the two outdoor dining areas.

Everthing has been designed with quality and style in mind - not a standard holiday house!

To the rear of the gound floor (but above ground level as the house is built on a slope) is a rear hallway leading to two large sunny bedrooms with views over the peaceful gardens. There is also a large shower room and separate WC.

Stairs lead from the cool airy 'sejour' to a large mezzanine lounge - newly carpeted with a second TV with DVD player and comfortable leather sofa and armchairs, this is a great spot to relax while choosing your next book from our overflowing bookcases!

There's a beautiful painted sideboard tucked away in an alcove, packed with toys for children of all ages and a good selection of comfy cushions for the little ones to make this cosy corner their own!

Leading off the mezzanine are three bedrooms, usually set up as twins, but easily altered to provide comfortable double accommodation. Windows in the eaves look out onto the beautiful gardens. Really comfy beds with crisp white linen and ample storage make all the bedrooms perfect retreats.

There is a second large bathroom with separate shower and WC opening from the mezzanine.

The garden is enormous. With open lawned areas for outdoor games, a mix of mature and newer trees together with a fully fenced pond. The heated salt water pool is great for everyone! Sunny terraces for sunbathing, great shallow end with roman steps for the little ones plus a proper deep end for diving, etc.

For the little ones there is a great climbing frame, plus a tyre swing high in the oak tree for the more adventurous, there's a football net, table tennis, babminton, croquet and boules, plus a good selection of bikes are there for our guests use - they just need to be requested before arrival so that we can reserve them.

Two shady pergolas complement the grounds creating a couple of great outside lounges and with benches and seats dotted around the grounds, there's always a shady spot to rest a while!

The Domaine is tucked away behind electric gates, completely screened from the world. Once the gates glide closed behind you the moment has come to relax and throw off the cares of the world!

The Farmhouse forms part of a private enclave shared with our second smaller holiday home (sleeping 4/6) and our own converted barn.

Set in 6.5 acres of beautiful landscaped grounds with fabulous 12 x 6 m heated pool, surrounded by a beautiful lavender hedge and wide terraces with plenty of sunloungers and umbrellas for shade.

Two shady pergolas make perfect outside lounges - perfect for enjoying the beautiful weather while enjoying a little shade. Wonderful spots to relax, enjoy a leisurely lunch by the pool or a drink as the gentle twilight descends over the rolling countryside.

The gardens are tree lined, with lots of shady spots to escape for a little quiet time or for the more active, plenty of outside games to keep even the most active teenager happy - from a football net, table tennis, babminton and even croquet for a little gentle exercise.

We've bikes for all - from adult bikes with baby seats to bikes for the youngsters and even a few scooters to whizz down the lane!

With such a great location in the midst of the verdant countryside many visitors feel little need to explore far from home - but for the more adventurous there is just so much to do!!
