LOCH LOMOND CHALET is situated at the foot of Ben Lomond on the east shores of Loch Lomond at Rowardennan 10 miles north of Drymen. Situated in a quiet location beside a small stream the cabin has views of the Loch from the large decking area.
Enjoy a well-earned holiday in luxury self-catering accommodation on the banks of Loch Lomond. Rowardennan is situated 45 minutes from Glasgow and Stirling and 80 minutes from Edinburgh so is ideally suited as a base camp for travel around central Scotland.
Fishing, Windsurfing, Water ski-ing, Wake-boarding, canoeing and all water sports can be enjoyed on the Loch. Moorings at Rowardennan can be arranged, at the hotel, for a weekly fee. There is a regular ferry service from Rowardennan to Inverbeg and cruises to many sites on the loch www.cruiselochlomond.com. Or you can try some wakeboarding lessons www.lochlomondwakeboard.com. Small boats may be hired at McFarlane’s Boatyard at Balmaha www.balmahaboatyard.co.uk where you can also buy your fishing permit or arrange a visit to the islands of Loch Lomond on the Royal Mail boat.
After a long journey enjoy arriving at Loch Lomond Chalet where you will be greeted with fresh flowers, chocolates and a welcome bottle of wine.
THIS LOG CABIN can sleep up to eight and consists of kitchen / dining / livingroom, with double sofa bed, one double bedroom with en-suite, two twin bedded rooms and bathroom. There is parking for up to 4 cars outside.
All bed linen and towels are supplied but you may want to bring your own beach towels. Price also includes all gas and electricity costs. The lodge is heated throughout with gas central heating.
There is a large decking area with table and chairs and a bar-be-que for your use – just supply your own charcoal. Number 19 is a “Midge – Free Zone” Midge magnet machine is installed to make your holiday more enjoyable!
LOUNGE
The lounge comes equipped with a Plasma TV(SKY), DVD with surround sound, and games console, It is heated by gas fire and has a two seater and single seater leather suite and 3 seater leather bed settee.
KITCHEN
The kitchen comes equipped with fridge / freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, oven, grill and hob,microwave, coffee machine and everything designed to make your holiday as relaxing as possible.
The antique pine dining table extends to seat eight comfortably.
BEDROOM 1 has a LCD television, a double bed and fitted wardrobes. The room also has an ensuite bathroom comprising of a shower,sink and WC.
BEDROOM 2 has 2 full size single beds and fitted wardrobes.There is also a selection of board games in this room.
BEDROOM 3 has 2 full size single beds and fitted wardrobes.
The bathroom is fitted with a Spa bath with shower and shower screen, vanity unit and WC.

necessary The lodge is in a very quiet area and the nearest Village store is 6miles away and the nearest supermarket is 16 miles away but all main internet shopping providers deliver to lodge. So it is either recommended to bring you provisions with you or have them delivered. |

Directions
Take M74 until it Joins M8 and head for Glasgow. Keep on M8 until jcn 30 for Erskine bridge. Cross over the Erskine Bridge and take the A82 first left off the bridge (signposted to Crianlarich) as far as Balloch. (bottom of Loch Lomond about 30 minutes from Rowardennan.)
When you get to the Stoneymolan roundabout at the beginning of Balloch take the last exit, A811 signposted to Stirling follow the road for about 10 miles until you come to Drymen. Turn left to Drymen, pass the Buchannan Arms Hotel on the right and when you see ‘The Hawthorns’ bed and breakfast turn left. (Road signposted to Balmaha). Rowardennan is about 10 miles from here. The road gradually get narrower as you get nearer to the loch.
After you have driven through Balmaha there is a very steep hill on the bend carry on along the narrow road and you will pass Millarochy Bay car park on the left and then the camping and caravan club site. Pass this site and Cashel Campsite about one mile from here on the left. Carry on for about 4 miles until the road ends at Rowardennan Hotel.
The entrance to the log cabins is just before the hotel car park but there is a security barrier so on arrival drive your car into the hotel car park and open the gate into the grounds. Number 19 is left through the security barrier then on the right hand side as you cross over the bridge at the river.
