Description
Eight granite steps lead to this 1st floor cottage. The open plan lounge /diner has high beamed ceilings adding to the feeling of spaciousness. There are two comfortable settees, nest of tables, TV, DVD and CD /Radio player and an Oak dining table and chairs. The galley style kitchen is fully fitted with washing machine, microwave, electric cooker and hob, fridge, toaster and kettle.
Along the hall, the bathroom has a bath with shower over, toilet and wash basin with shaver light.
The large family bedroom has a 4ft 6in double bed and full size bunk beds, with a double wardrobe 4 drawer chest with mirror and two 3 drawer bedside tables with lamps. Central heating and electricity are included.
The Cottages are set around a central courtyard with teak furniture. There is a large private parking area behind the cottages. Each cottage is equipped with: Flat Screen TV, DVD player, CD Radio, and have Fully Double Glazed windows and doors.
New (2011) Fitted kitchens include electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, kettle and toaster, dishwasher (Pheasants, Badgers and Squirrels) and washing machine (Pheasants, Squirrels and Badgers).
The Bathrooms have baths with fitted shower over (Woodpeckers has en-suite shower only).
Cots and highchairs are available on request - we charge £10 per week.
All Bed linen is included - the beds will be made up ready for you. We also provide tea towels and oven gloves, and bathroom towels are included - all we ask is that you do not use these for the pool or beach.
Electricity and heating are also included in the price.
There is a fully-equipped laundry room with washing machine and tumble-dryer, and there is an outside clothes line.
The heated Swimming Pool has views across the lizard peninsula and down to the sea - We do keep a stock of towels suitable for use within the pool area for which there is a small charge.

by Car
Leave the A30 and join the A39 through Truro and then A394 towards Helston.
At Helston, follow signs for the Lizard. Once passed RNAS Culdrose, carry straight on across the roundabout, take the first turning on the right which is signposted Cury and Poldhu. Follow the road for about 1.5 miles through Nantithet and when the road takes a sharp right bend (as you arrive at Cury), you will see the sign for Nanplough Cottages almost infront of you between two cottages (one yellow, one white). Proceed down this lane to the main house.
