The kitchen leads to the spacious living room furnished with comfortable sofas, TV, DVD, CD player, books, games etc .On the first floor there are 2 bedrooms, one with a large double bed the other with 2 singles and room for another single. 2 ensuites one with a bath, both with showers,sinks and wc's. The bedroom on the top floor has a double bed with room for another single. All bedrooms have clothes hanging facilities and are furnished with quality bedlinen and pillows.There is a cot. Outside in the large garden is an octagonal swimming pool, terrace with table, chairs, parasol, sunloungers and barbecue..There is an attached garage (freezer lives here) with room for 2 small or 1 estate car.
The hamlet of Le Bouix is set in the Dordogne valley with the riverside town of Beaulieu sur Dordogne minutes away with its colourful market, quality restaurants and water leisure activities. There are many historical towns and villages in the near vicinity to visit and Brive a major town is 30 mins away. Famous Baynac is an hour away with the medieval castle that was featured in the film Joan of Arc. Argentat is also set on the river, not far away and is also blessed with good restaurants. Lots to do and explore.
The house is very well equiped with quality bedlinen, towels, cutlery, crockery, pots and pans etc. Cleaning before and after your visit are included in the rental charge. There wil be a wecome pack of local food and wine awaiting your arrival to ease you into your holiday!
Les Cerisier is set in a tiny hamlet surrounded by rolling hills, the views are truly stunning. The house offers an open and airy atmosphere and is flooded with light . It is superbly equipped with a newly fitted dining kitchen and two luxury bathrooms. All the living rooms are furnished with quality and comfort in mind to make your stay as memorable as possible. The area is very restful and quiet although there is plenty to do and see not far away by car. Golf is available at Brive. Also swimming / kayaking / fishing / and horse riding. The area offers excellent scenic walks and is good for cycling. It is a very historical area and superb for exploring. There are many gastronomic restaurants to suit all tastes.
