Description

The village of Les Contamines-Montjoie is sitauted at the foot of the Mont Blanc mountain range. In winter it is a ski resort renowned for its excellent snow from December to late April. In summer it is a hikers paradise and excellent family resort with much to do and visit. Chamonix is just 30 mins drive away and the Italian and Swiss border are both within 40 mins drive.

Directions

Leave the A40 motorway at exit 21 and follow directions for Les Contamines-Montjoie. At St. Gervais follow the sign for Les Contamines (D902) which is a further 7km. After passing through the hamlet of Tresse and going a further 2km you will see a sign marked "Domaine Skiable" pointing off right. Take this road for 100m then turn left up a steep road called Chemin de la Chapelle.
