My-Villa is tucked into the hillside above Rayol, overlooking a magnificent vista of coast and sea views below. A morning swim in the Med, coffee at Maurin des Maures, our excellent bar/restaurant, then the 1 km stroll home, picking up a paper, croissants and bread for breakfast, popping into La Boucherie for something tasty for lunch. Paradise found.
My-Villa is an elegant, modern, luxurious, fully air conditioned detached Provencal villa, featuring spacious living accommodation with two separate and independent living areas. The principal living area comprises two reception rooms, lounge and salon, both with comfortable seating. Separate dining area, granite dining table for ten (+ 2 extra at a squeeze). The additional private living room (with leather sofa bed) is adjacent to the fifth bedroom, which together form the36 sq.m master bedroom suite. Set in extensive grounds of approximately 5000 square meters (1.25 acres), with private pool, private drive to double garage, extensive sun and covered terrace areas. Fully and carefully equipped as a home for ten or twelve guests with high quality fixtures and fittings throughout the villa and garden.

Important note: for the months of November - March inclusive, My-Villa is rented as a four bedroom villa only. Bedroom 5 is not at your disposal, but 'the den', the adjacent living room with sofa bed, is available for you to use.
A deposit of 25% secures a booking. A telephone/Email/Internet reservation will be held for five days until payment of the 25% deposit is received. Payment in full is due eight weeks before the booked arrival date. Bookings made within eight weeks of the arrival date require payment in full. All payments received for rental of the villa are strictly non-refundable. To guard against potential loss in the case where you cannot take up your booking, you should arrange adequate insurance. Rental price includes normal use of water, all year round and normal use of electricity for the months of April to September inclusive. For the months of October to March inclusive, there is a charge made for electricity, calculated from meter readings, to cover the cost of warm air heating. The heating is provided by our very efficient air conditioning system, which works on a heat pump principal - one kilowatt of electricity provides 4.5 kilowatts of heating (or cooling in the summer).
A security payment of 1000 Euros (or 900 pounds sterling, 1400 US dollars, 1400 Canadian dollars) against damage and the cost of telephone calls is payable two weeks before the date of your arrival. In the case of no damage at the property this payment is refundable in full minus the cost of telephone calls made. Please note, that since you have the facility to make free phone calls to many countries (see below) the cost of your calls would normally be minimal. For our American and Canadian guests, if you wish to make the security payment in dollars, please discuss this with us - we will accept a banker's check.

All bedrooms have French windows that lead directly onto a terrace. Bed linen/towels provided for your convenience. Beach/pool towels are not provided. Twice weekly maid service included, mid + end of week. The final maid visit is an end of rental clean (but please leave the villa relatively clean and tidy). All the beds are very comfortable with firm mattresses (no back problems for those with sensitive backs). Three of the double bedrooms have their own en-suite bathroom facilities, whilst one double bedroom and the twin bedroom share a separate bathroom. There is also a separate toilet. Bedroom 5, at one end of the villa, has a private living room adjacent to it (the den). Together these comprise the master bedroom suite of 36 sq.m. The den is furnished with a leather sofa bed, which if needed, offers comfortable, private sleeping for two. The den may also be used as a nursery for a younger child or baby, with the convenience of being immediately next door to bedroom 5. We provide a cot for a baby (we have 2 cots available). |

Tiling throughout the bathrooms in the villa is in hand-made Salernes tiles, with colour schemes typical of vibrant yet under stated Provencal panache - rose, peppermint green, antique white, azure blue. Showers are spacious, the water supply powerful. Hot water is provided by an electric storage system, duplicated and linked to provide an element of redundancy. All water charges are included in the rental price. |
