Le Tuquet is an old farmhouse set in the middle of farmland on top of a small hill, with all round views of the beautiful countryside and church at Villebramar. It is at the end of its own chemin (small road), with no chance of passers by, ideal for a relaxing holiday.The 3 acre site offers open grass areas, woodland, fruit trees,quiet shaded areas, and walled BBQ area. An oak framed covered terrace overlooks the large enclosed pool, ideal for young children with its wide steps and paddling area. There is plenty of seating outside, for following the sun/shade throughout the day. Inside, all rooms have exposed beams. Ground floor - large fully equipped kitchen/breakfast room( DW, FF, gas hob, electric oven, Mwave,+ small apps) with fireplace and wood burner, large lounge, spacious hallway, a double bedroom and a family bedroom(double +bunk), utility area leading to large shower room. Upstairs - Large bedroom (double + 2 singles) mezzanine bedroom (double + 2 singles and shower room.
The property is wheelchair accessible any additional requirements should be discussed with the owner prior to booking to ensure accessibility to specific areas. The owners provide towels for the pool area and bathroom towels are provided along with the bed linen. All services are included in the rental charge There is ample parking for 4 or more vehicles. The 4 bedrooms are large enough to be arranged to suit any party up to fourteen in number. The owners require prior notice of requirements for high chairs and cots. There are inflatables and games available for the pool and garden including boules, badminton, football etc. There is also a selection of modern DVD's and DVD box sets for the use of the guests and Nintendo & PlayStation games consoles with games. Board games are also available. No smoking anywhere inside the house.

Directions
Famous for the quality of its prunes, the local countryside is awash with beautiful plum orchards, though it is often referred to as 'Little Tuscany', its rolling landscape is like the garden of France with sunflowers, vineyards and fields of gold amongst its many Chateaux and pretty villages. Within easy reach are the Medieval Bastide towns of Eymet, Monpazier, Duras,and Monflaquin, with daily produce markets throughout the 'villes' of the area. The night markets are a great way to spend an evening, particularly at LaParade, with its walled town and stunning views of the Lot valley.The beautiful rivers of the Lot and the Garonne are a source of history and activities, as are the many activity lakes of the area. The famous Dordogne river is nearby, so hire a canoe and gently paddle by the spectacular river town of La Roque Gageac, and the Chateax of Beynac, Castelnaud and Milande. The Perigord has some of the most spectacular cave systems and troglodyte paintings to be seen.

Peaceful retreat in a beautiful setting
Our extended family had a two week stay here, and we found that the space both inside and out was plentiful.
Everything was to a really high standard and was obviously well maintained.
The setting is as described, and all family needs have been met here. The surrounding area is steeped in tradition, with local markets and town squares with cafes and bars.
Very highly recommended.
