Description

My name is Jayne and I own this lovely apartment. I have personally made sure that there is everything you might need to have a stress-free, relaxing holiday. The decor is contemporary with a spacious open plan living area where the furniture is really good quality. I love to sit out on the private balcony enjoying a glass of wine and the spectacular open view to the sea.

Best of all is that no one is overlooking me and the large roof top garden has fantastic views and there I can sunbathe is peaceful isolation. If you need to unwind just cool down in the pool or relax in the hot-tub.

Two storeys is the maximum height one can build in this wonderful conservation area so guests will not find any big hotels or complexes here just friendly locals who care and are keen to talk to visitors. I am on the second floor but it is easy access as there is a lift to the apartment.

The apartment is very close to the sea and just ten minutes drive from Larnaca airport. The lovely sandy Faros beach with loungers and other facilities is only a 25 minute walk away. Sunset Gardens is simply a quiet haven with everything to hand including tavernas, restaurants, mini market, pharmacy, bank, gift shop everything to make this a near perfect spot for our guests.

The village of Pervolia is roughly fourteen kilometersfrom Larnaca and really easy to get to via bus, cab or hire car. The residents of Pervolia are friendly while the location is beautiful, quiet and the food is authentic. The beach that is just 10 minutes away is pebbled but gives way to sandy golden stretches only thirty minutes walk towards the Cape. There are two churches in the village of Pervolia, Agias Irini and Agios Leontis each with their own festival. But despite being a relatively small village with a population of 1,600, Pervolia also has banks, tourist shops, supermarkets and a sport centre. Pervolia is an idyllic Cypriot village.

There is a good choice of restaurants and bars for lots of different tastes from traditional Cypriot to Chinese and English fair. Bar Coast offers a relaxed atmosphere with curry nights, Sunday lunches bingo and karaoke - even offering FREE WIFI to guests.

Pervolia has two lighthouses, one modern and one ancient as well as ruins of a Phoenician temple and a Venetian watchtower.

I know you probably know this but the currency is Euro, you drive on the left and the electricity is 3 pin as in the UK so bring your GHD's :) Cyprus is two hours ahead of UK time. While you are over in Cyprus my agent, Michelle, will give you a 24 hour emergency telephone number so you can feel totally confident that if anything untoward happens you will be very well looked after.

Holiday in Pervolia
This new property is in a good location in the village of Pervolia with open views across farm land to the sea with villas by the beach. We were grateful for welcome pack it saved us shopping straight away. We had the pool to ourselves most days and plenty of sun loungers available to enjoy the Cyprus sun. The taverns and the centre of the village is a 10 mins gentle walk. We were glad to have a hire car as it gave us the flexability to go travelling around Cyprus. There were one or two small items that required attention in the apartment and the owner said they will be fixed before the next client arrives. We would consider this apartment again on our return to Cyprus. Enjoy.

Pervolia holiday - tasteful, clean, recommended
A tastefully clean furnished apartment walking distance to the beach (20 min) but a car is needed if you have children and its the height of summer! The beach is pleasant and shallow with sun beds and loungers for hire. The complex communal pool is kept clean and has loungers and umbrella's and the communal showers are ideal to reduce shower queues in the apartment in the evening. The location of the apartment is ideal as it is a little out of Pervolia village but near enough to walk even with a 4 year old and a two half year old who had a great time at the village festival! Local restaurants are within walking distance – to the left is a wonderful taverna run by London Cypriots catering for all likes and dislikes. The Fish restaurant next door is excellent but a little pricey. Hire car is needed if you want to travel further and see the sites. The agents were quick in replacing blown bulbs and providing us with a spare key. Jayne is excellent with communication by email and telephone. The balcony (at the moment) is not suitable for very young children but having spoken to Jayne she is keen to investigate ways of making it suitable. Overall we had a great time and I will not hesitate to keep this in mind for next year (annual Cyprus holiday makers!) and I am happy to recommend it to friends and family.

Great apartment - near everything and still quiet
I stayed in this apartment off-season and found it to be everything I wanted and more. Pool is immaculate and downstairs shower facilities really helpful. Village centre is really near and a nice little walk to get to. Everything you may need can be found there. The apartment is quiet because it is not right in the centre of the village and no one else looks at you because there are no buildings in front to block your view. I went with my sister and we had a really nice time in the village in the evenings and ventured out in the day with our hire car which I would recommend as it was so easy. Driving on the left really helped! The only downside was a strong afternoon wind coming from the sea when the temperature started to cool but it didn't last all day. Owners really helpful and quick to respond to all my queries. I would definitely recommend staying here.

203 Sunset Gardens review
We (2 adults and 2 teenagers) had a lovely fortnight at the apartment in July 2011. It was very clean and tastefully furnished. The bathroom is tiny but as long as you don't mind waiting is fine to use. The pool is clean and good for swimming. We found it essential to have a car to get from a to b, but could always park it. We corresponded with the owner beforehand who was informative and quick in all her responses and she updated her website with a map location after one conversation. Pervolia is easy to walk to and has several Cypriot restaurants as well as English bars with free wifi. Larnaca is very pleasant with many eateries and nice beaches. We would recommend this apartment.
