Our luxury apartment at the Grove Spa Resort is spacious, with living spaces flowing elegantly through to the large balcony and splendid views.
As one guest recently said: "You have an ideal position in the complex with lovely views (fantastic to be able to see the mountains)".
We have a fully equipped Italian kitchen and only the best modern appliances. The bedrooms feature light oak beds, stylish fitted wardrobes, and handsome internal doors, giving a feeling of luxury throughout. The apartment is air conditioned throughout and grants you free wi-fi access and satellite TV. On arrival, you will find your complimentary Welcome Pack which will include milk, tea, water, juice, sugar, bread, soap and toilet paper. High chairs and cots can be hired at reception.
Information pack will be sent to you in advance; however, you will also find a folder in the apartment covering apartment facilities, grove spa resort facilities, plus more about Mazotos, Larnaca, and Cyprus.
As we look out from our large private balcony we can look across to the mountain or take in the sweeping view of the Grove Spa resort. Charm, elegance, and sophistication has been achieved by bringing together luxury apartments, beautiful pools and landscaped gardens with palms tastefully flowing through the resort.
The outdoor resort facilities are available now and free to guests. Outside, there are 3 curvaceous pools (including one children's pool), all over 20 metres long for your pleasure. At the end of the 2 main pools are large Jacuzzis. Around the pools are sun loungers and parasols. The outdoor games area is set up for giant chess and jenga, etc.
Please note that facilities in the spa building will be phased in during the second half of 2012. Those will include changing rooms, showers, toilets, reception, gym, aerobic/dance studio and the roof top cafe. Also, spa facilities which will include the heated hydrotherapy pool with massage jets, sauna, plunge pool, steam room and massage/beauty/relaxation rooms. The tennis court will also be introduced next year.
The tourist beaches, shops, restaurants, and night life of Larnaca are just 20 minutes drive away. You'll be able to park in the secure underground car park and benefit from the concierge service. You will find our apartment the perfect environment in which to unwind. Free Wi-fi is available.
The resort has full ramp access at ground floor level and lift access to all floors. Our apartment is not adapted for accessibility, however, if needed, please enquire as some apartments within the Grove spa resort are.
Within the local area you will find long stretches of unspoilt coastline where you can relax on the pebble beaches or swim in the fabulous Mediterranean clear blue sea. A nice unspoilt sandy beach is just 10 minutes by car. Within a 20 to 30 minute drive from Grove Spa Resort you will come to the sandy blue flag tourist beaches including: Castella, Phinikoudes, McKenzie, and Yanathes as well as Faros, CTO, and Governor’s. From the Grove Spa Resort, the nearest golf course is approximately 40 minutes away. Just over an hours drive away, in the Troodos mountains, there is a modest ski resort which winter visitors and locals dash to when snow appears. Facilities are limited and runs short. Kite surfing is available just 10 minutes away.
Larnaca International airport is just 20 minutes away. From there, taxis are plentiful but I would recommend you hire a car, unless staying within the resort for the duration of your stay. The car hire desks at the airports are open 24 hours. Paphos airport is also an option but up to 2 hours away by car.
If driving from the Grove Spa Resort, centre of traditional Mazotos village with general stores and bar is just 2 minutes away, Mazotos Camel Park and restaurant is just 3 minutes away, Pervolia which is famous for its tavernas and traditional music evenings is 10 minutes away, Kiti village with historic church, shops, and restaurants is 10 minutes away. Also nearby are Lefkara (lace and silver), Stavrovouni Monastry (wonderful views), Larnaca (shops, restaurants, historic sites, beaches, water sports).

Changeover days are flexible. Rooms should be vacated by 11am and check in is from 4pm. However, if possible, depending on other bookings, we try to be flexible.

There are 2 main curvaceous outdoor pools (unheated) over 20 metres long both with adjacent large Jacuzzis. Also a large children's outdoor pool (unheated). Sun loungers and parasols are freely available. The outstanding pools sit amongst palms and landscaped gardens. There is an outdoor games area (including giant chess, jenga etc). The Spa Resort lies in an area not at all overwhelmed by tourists. The area is beautiful, with the sea on one side, hills and mountain on the other. Neighbouring villages offer interesting features such as Pervolia where people travel from all over the island just to dine, particularly on traditional Cypriot music nights. A pleasant 20 minutes drive takes you into Larnaca with its myriad of shops, restaurants, cafes, and bars, as well as places of historic interest and the long sandy beaches. Why not join the locals for an evening promenade along Phinikoudes, which is lined with ornamental street-lamps and palm trees. Conveniently, a cashpoint machine is just a few minutes walk away from the Grove spa resort and a petrol station 3 minutes drive away. In Mazotos village centre, you'll find the historic church of St. George, two well provisioned general stores and a taverna/bar. A big supermarket is 10 minutes away by car. |

There are good quiet beaches within 10 minutes but most tourist sandy beaches, plus the main centres for water sports are about 15-20 minutes drive away. Of particular note, for divers, is the Zenobia wreck, just off the coast at Larnaca, which is one of the world's top 10 dive sites. Boat trips for diving, snorkling, excursions and fishing trips can be taken from Larnaca Marina. There is a fantastic kitesurfing centre at nearby Pervolia. Go Karting is about 20 minutes away. Cycling is a popular local activity and bike hire can be arranged. Just 5-10 minutes by car from the Grove Spa resort are uncrowded pebble beaches for swimming and pleasant walks + one great unspoilt sandy beach. Just 3 minutes by car, from the resort, is the Camel Park where you can ride camels! The area immediately around Mazotos village has a number of very satisfying walks. Within the resort itself are two large main swimming pools plus a large children's pool, sunbeds and parasols. Late 2012 will see the opening to guests of dance/aerobics, yoga, pilates, and beauty therapy and the gym + tennis.. About 50 minutes away is a wonderful water park and there are a number of Golf courses within reach, the nearest is 40 minutes away. In the Troodos mountains, about 1 hour away, you can enjoy excellent mountain biking and skiing (in winter). Mountain biking is also popular locally.

Peace and tranquility………The apartment is new and very well equipped. It was spotlessly clean on arrival. The pool is fantastic, clean and maintained every other day. Most of the time we had the pool to ourselves. The resort is located in a small village which has good facilities. In the local area there are a number of villages with good taverns and shops and there are beaches nearby. The owner Adrian provides an excellent information pack. A hire car is essential and we would recommend trips to Nicosia where you can walk over to the Turkish side where there are some interesting sites, this journey is under an hour. Also Larnaca seafront which is great for an evening stroll”.

We had a great week and got to see a part of the island that was unfamiliar to us. Would definitely go again and recommend your apartment.
Everything in resort was great – found the apartment really easily.
The kebab house behind the art gallery is outstanding value for money -the ‘small’ is definitely enough for most people, and we enjoyed a game of Tavoli (backgammon) while we were waiting!
We were pleasantly surprised how inexpensive it now is compared to the Canaries, for instance, or France.
Larnaka has a very different landscape and its own appeal and we would recommend visitors to give it a try, especially for those who have tired of the Pafos scene.
We really enjoyed our week and wished we had been able to stay longer!
Definitely looking to book here again in future.
