Description
The most attractive features to this villa is the quality of furnishing throughout. There is a very homely feel to this self catering villa and the furniture is very comfortable and modern. The key features is there's a house alarm, private pool and Air-con units are throughout the villa. Every modern con is catered for ranging from 42' plasma, WIFI, Satellite T.V., PS3, X-BOX 360, IPOD speakers, stainless steel gas hob and oven cooker, large silver fridge freezer, microwave, washing machine, tumble dryer, integrated dishwasher, water cooling dispenser, toaster and kettle. Outside there is a private swimming pool with night time pool light, for sunbathing there are 6 loungers all with comfortable blue mats, gas BBQ (Outback), 4 mountain bikes (2 adult & 2 children) and a large table with 8 rattan effect chairs. The bedrooms all have hand made draping curtains and black out blinds. There is also Italian designed floor to ceiling, wall to wall storage cupboards in all the bedrooms.
The World Health Organisation classifies Oroklini's annual climate as one of the world's best with about 320 days of sun & 2950 hours of sunshine which equates to around 9 hours a day of beautiful blue skies, warm days and golden sunsets. Oroklini enjoys a micro-climate due to its position on the tip of Southern Cyprus coast which provides ideal characteristics for year-round living. This micro-climate also ensures clear sunny days with fresh sea air that makes Oroklini an excellent location for leisure holidays. The sea breeze also provides a pleasant cooling effect on those hot sunny days. Temperatures: April and May are a very comfortable 23 to 26c/73 to 78f; June is the beginning of serious summer with around 28c/82f; July and August are gloriously hot at around 35c/95f; September to mid October are normally 28c/82f. Oroklini is truly wonderful so come and enjoy yourselves!
There are several Restaurant and Bar Guides in the villa which lists numerous places all around the area which have been visited and enjoyed by many of our visitors - and us! There are several quality local restaurants and tevarnas to be enjoyed in Oroklini. While only a 15 minutes walk out of the village onto the Dhekelia road you will find a host of hotels and an assortment of restaurants offering excellent mouth-watering Indian cuisine, exotic Chinese, fantastic Steakhouses, authentic Cypriot, or spicy Mexican. Or you could go for the cosmopolitan atmosphere on Larnaca promenade which is alligned with beach front bars, sports bars, TGI Fridays and another huge abundance of restaurants, cafes and nightclubs. There is something for everyone who enjoys the finer side to life! Don't be fooled into thinking this is like Ayia Napa restaurants and bars! There will be no touts or people hassling you to come into there establishment, it is all very cosmopolitan and relaxing atmosphere.
In the villa, you will find a listing of places to visit in the immediate area, around the region and further afield in Larnaca and Ayia Napa. There are so many wonderful Fiestas that take place throughout the year perpetuating both religious and pagan festivals, all of which are unique to this area. There are also Popular & Classical Concerts and Firework displays. While you are here you can visit Larnaca (10 minutes drive) and Ayia Napa (20 minute drive). Here you will find fantastic shopping, culture, history, boat trips and sightseeing. Maybe you could go a little further afield to Limissol (45 minutes drive) or if you would like to go skiing in the winter why not visit Troodas Mountains (1 hour drive).
Skiing is available in the winter at Troodos mountains and is about a 1 hour drive from Cool Breeze Villa. Cyprus is a wonderful island of contrasts. Where else could you ski in the morning and then be sunning yourself by the pool or on the beach in the afternoon? The snows on Mount Olympus are a fabulous way of spending a winter morning in the Ski Cyprus arena. The ski lifts operate from 09.00 to 16.00 h all week during the winter season.
There is currently an ongoing construction of 27 hole international golf coarse just outside Larnaca and will be a 15 minute drive from Cool Breeze Villa. Fifteen minutes away and designed by the European Golf Federation, and maintained by PGA Golf Management, the design, development and management subsidiary of the Professional Golfer’s Association, the stunning Tersefanou golf club will be among the finest in Cyprus once it is completed at the end of 2012.

recommended The villa is situated in a quiet Cypriot village. There are a few tavernas/restaurants offering good quality and value for money food. There are a few bars, and amenities such as supermarkets (1 x 24 hour), shopping centre, chemist, 24 hour bakery, fruit and veg shop, Bank of Cyprus with ATM, hairdressers etc. Also on offer are a leisure centre, go-karting, horse/donkey riding and a DVD rental shop. With a 15 minute walk or 3 minute taxi ride you will find a Blue Flag beach as well as numerous restaurants offering local and international cuisine, bars, hotels, nightclubs, shops, car hire outlets and taxi hire. Also in this area you will find a bowling venue. Approximately 7 kilometres from the villa you will find Larnaca, which is the 3rd largest town in Cyprus. In this town you will find an abundance of facilities and the ever popular, mile long, palm tree promenade by the sea front. Next to the promenade is a marina which offers local boat trips. The town also boasts fine museums. |

Cool Breeze, a perfect stay.
We were at the Cool Breeze Villa for a week in May 2011. We did have a great time. The villa was well equipped, everyting we needed was there. The large livingroom was comfortable and modern funished. The kitchen had a lot of equipment., a large dinnertable and a good fridge. We were 6, 4 adult children, and we had a lot of space to live. When we were in the villa the swimmingpool was used from morning till evening.. There was enough shadow for someone who didn’t like the sun. Outside by the swimmingpool we had a lot of privacy and the view was magnificent. The neigbours were very kind and offered to help if needed. It was a good advice to rent a car. We went to the beach in Agia Napa: a beautifull beach. In Nicosia it was very special to cross the border and in the centre are vey nice shops. In Oroklini is also a bus to Larnaca. We did lots of shopping in Oroklini: a good Zorba’s bakery an a 24 hours supermarket. The Liddl , a big supermarket, is near the highway at the village of Ormidela and at the beachroad to Larnaca. The bikes were used every day to do the little shopping.

Holiday Heaven
I visited the villa last year for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed the experience, so I booked it twice this year for 2 weeks in August and 1 week in October. Since last year there have been some brilliant improvements, the pool has been relined, the pool and patio area has been laid with tiles that do no hold the heat, so you can walk on it bare footed even in the middle of August. The front has been levelled and lighting installed, ideal for sitting out in the afternoon as it is in the shade till around 5pm. Inside both the bathrooms have been updated to a high standard, this being in character with the whole villa, again the villa was immaculate inside and out. The location of Cool Breeze Villa is at the end of a quiet Cul-de-sac and is adjacent to an open space on one side and a friendly neighbour on the other, with no excessive vehicle noise, as the main estate road is 50-100mts away with the main village road 3-400mts away. A hire car is not essential as there is a good bus service into Larnaca that goes passed the beach, however should you wish to explore the island and get out and about more, visiting, Protaras, Ayia Napa, the water park, Trudos, Limmasol, the list is endless, and then a hire car is a must. The entrance to the motorway is just at the top of the village giving easy access to the places mentioned. However, if you just want a quiet relaxing holiday, then everything you need is within 5-10 minutes walking distance from the villa. The village has everything you might need from a 24 hour bakery, which is naughty but a must, 2 supermarkets (the furthest one is the cheapest, even cheaper than the Metro in Larnaca for lots of things), a pharmacy, DVD rental shop, takeaways, restaurants (the 'Only' restaurant does a brilliant all day 'English' breakfast), taverna’s, banks with ATM, beauty therapy, a butchers, (excellent meat for the 'barby' and more than very reasonable.) The army base at Dhekalia is a must for the best fish and chips you will ever taste. For the energetic there is a new fitness centre which cost 10 euro’s for a week’s subscription. For the non energetic the ‘Sports Bar' on the main road, shows all major games. Cool Breeze Villa provides an excellent base for your holiday, whether you wish to explore the island, or have a private lazy, quiet life which would give you little reason to leave the villa especially with the pool being so inviting.
