The apartment is situated on the first floor but there are fully operational lifts for ease of access. Both steps and ramps can be used at ground floor level. All floors have lift access (including from car parking in the basement). There has not been any further special adaptation.
The outdoor balcony is a perfect area for alfresco wining and dining with top quality outdoor wicker furniture. The furniture includes 4 chairs and a good sized square table. Barbeque can be provided if required. The chairs also convert to sun loungers with pull out foot rests.
The nearest beach is one mile away and the local taverna contains a good selection of food and facilities. The sandy beach can be very quiet and the waters are very shallow for a long way out so very safe for children.
Many local beaches are reached within 20 minutes by car. The biggest beach about 20 minutes away is Mackenzie beach and it is signposted as you approach Larnaca. All the shops, local market and restaurants can be found there easily and is a popular location for all ages.
Cyprus hosts a number of golf courses. Tersefanou has a new PGA golf course being built ten minutes drive. Limassol Golf Course is 30 minutes away. Aphrodite Hills Golf Course near Paphos is approximately 1 hour. Famagusta District in Southern Cyprus also has courses approx 60 minutes away.
Skiing is for a limited period in the Troodos Mountains, no snow falls anywhere else on the island. It can be driven in about 90 minutes.
The apartment can be rented through a number of package options in addition to the core rental - honeymoon, special occasion, health break, massage and treatment inclusive packages etc.
The walking around the Troodos Mountains makes for spectacular scenery and is simply stunning. There are many guides and routes available. You can also drive to the top of the mountain where there are more eating and tourist shopping activities but you might just be grateful for a drink and some shade.
Local villages up the mountain side offer some unique local experiences. Kikkos monastery is outstanding. The old ruins at Paphos and Kourion are both excellent. Larnaca boasts an excellent marina for sailing enthusiasts. Cycling is becoming ever more popular.
Mazotos is home to the Camel Park which is great for children or simply visit their restaurant. The stores, bars, restaurants and banks etc in the centre of the village a short walk from the apartment.
There are restaurants along the coast road for quality fish restaurants with Zygi 15 minutes drive away.
In 60 minutes, you can be on top of the highest mountain in Cyprus.

recommended Mazotos is walking distance with local shops, tavernas, pubs etc to suit most tastes. Local Camel Park is only 2-3 minutes drive away - it is very good & serves reasonable food. 24 hour bakery/store &Carrefour supermarket 5-10 minutes. Tersefanou is approximately 10 minutes by car - family park & golf course under construction. Larnaca is 20-25 minutes - Larnaca Airport is 15-20 minutes. Nicosia 45 minutes. Zygi (fishing village/taverns) 15 minutes. Mountains (ski resort) 60 minutes. |

The Grove Spa Resort is situated 20 minutes from Larnaca airport and is easily found. It is strongly advised that you hire a car for any holidays within Cyprus to allow you to easily explore the island with good roads links to all destinations. It is not essential however.
