Height Top Farm Holiday Cottages are set in the beautiful Forest of Bowland AONB and Pendle Forest.
Steeped in centuries old heritage and legendary folklore this area offers many attractions to suit your interests.
The original farmhouse has been sympathetically restored and divided into two individual cottages. We have kept as many of the original features as possible and have utilized others in a different area. ie; the original slop stone sink is used for the boot washing facility.
Fruit and Veg.
When produce is available guests are free to make use of fruit and vegetables grown in our garden.
Mrs Wagtails Holiday Cottage
Four star holiday Cottage and Gold Award GTBS. This Cottage is situated on the ground floor and is accessible by the less mobile.
The lounge has a cosy cottage feel with fireside chairs and footstools, and additional upholstered window seating.
There is a fully working Yorkist Range. The TV has a built in DVD player. The open plan dining area leads to a fully fitted kitchen. The bedroom has twin beds and built in wardrobes and there is a fully tiled en-suite shower room.
The Cottage has central heating. Bed linen and towels are provided.
Rates from £300 to £380 per week available all year.
All bookings require a non returnable deposit of twenty percent payable at the time of booking,
Full balance payable four weeks prior to holiday start date.
We can take payments by cash, cheque or postal orders.
The cottage is non smoking and no pets are allowed (assistance animals accepted). Ample off road parking.
Jenny Wrens Holiday Cottage
Four star holiday Cottage and Gold Award GTBS Situated on the first floor with enviable views from all of the windows. The lounge has a comfortable sofa and upholstered window seating.
There is a log burning stove with an original mantel stone above. The first basket of fuel is provided.
The TV has a built in DVD player. The open plan dining area leads into a fully fitted kitchen.
The bedroom has a double bed and a built in wardrobe. There is a fully tiled en-suite shower room with toilet, wash basin and a heated towel radiator.
The Cottage has central heating. Bed linen and towels are provided.

Height Top Farm
Height Top Farm is a small working sheep farm keeping rare breed sheep and we have just started to keep Dexter cattle (a breed that is over 2000 years old).
We make hay in one of the more traditional ways; small hay bales. We find them easier to handle and it avoids having to use very large machinery which can only be good for the environment! The smaller machinery is better for the land and for the old stone land drains on the farm, which we try to keep in good repair.
If you love walking we are the ideal place to stay with many local walks including a door-to-door figure of eight walk that will show you the best of Sabden Valley.

Leave the M65 at junction 13 and turn left onto the A6068.After approximately 3 miles, turn right onto Guide Lane. Take the next road to the left Stump Hall Road and we are the second opening on the left.
Leave the A59 and head for Sabden over the 'Nick O Pendle'. Take the left fork out of Sabden up to Padiham Heights and turn left at the top of the hill. Follow this road for approximately 2 miles and we are on the right hand side of the road.
