Description
Casa Heather is an air-conditioned villa with its own private pool, close to lovely beaches and only twenty five minutes from the Port Adventura theme park. It is ideal for two families wishing to holiday together in comfort and has been thoughtfully furnished and equipped to a very high standard to provide everything needed for a relaxed and carefree holiday.
The villa is situated on the sought after urbanization of Tres Calas which is set against a backdrop of wonderful mountain views and has its own three beaches. At the entrance to the estate you will find a supermarket, bakery, two bars and a restaurant. The typical Spanish fishing town of L’Ametlla de Mar is approximately 4km away and has a train station and a variety of shops, bars and restaurants. The fishing boats return late afternoon and you can sit at one of the many bars and restaurants in the harbor area and watch as they unload their catch. This is a quiet unspoilt area of the Costa Dorada with no high rise buildings and some of the most beautiful, undeveloped coastline on the Mediterranean.

There is a folding bed available for a ninth person and a travel cot can be supplied by prior arrangement. One master bedroom with access to the roof terrace and adjoining bathroom is upstairs. The other master bedroom with very large en-suite shower room, the two twin bedded rooms and family bathroom are all downstairs. All bedrooms have large built in wardrobes. The two master bedrooms have air conditioning units and there are electric fans for the twin bedrooms. |

The gradually maturing garden has a variety of shrubs and trees, including a lemon tree and colourful bougainvillea. The garden and swimming pool are illuminated at night and there is a large bar style barbecue. There is extensive paved patio area and plenty of comfortable sunbeds are provided. There is a large table with 8 chairs and a smaller table with four chairs for outside dining and off-road parking for two cars. Nearby Places of Interest: Barcelona, the European city of culture, is only 90 mins away by road or 2 hrs by train and is a truly fascinating city to visit. Universal Studios Port Aventura, considered to be the best theme park in Spain, and the Costa Caribbe Water Park are situated at Salou, a lively tourist resort approximately 25 mins drive. The historic city of Reus and the ancient city of Tarragona with its Roman buildings and amphitheatre are 30 mins away. Towards the South is the Ebro Delta Natural Park, famous for its pink flamingo’s and monstrous catfish. This is a haven for fishermen and fishing is permitted along the public areas of the River Ebro, although a fishing licence must be purchased from the local village town hall. There are also some wonderful drives along the River Ebro as it meanders inland amidst some stunning scenery. For Golfers: The Golf Club de Bonmont designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. and considered to be one of the finest golf courses in Catalonia, is at Mont-Roig del Camp, approx. 20 mins drive away. Travel Details: Both Reus and Barcelona Airports are convenient for the villa, both of which are well served by the low cost airlines. Ryan Air fly into Reus, whilst Easy Jet have a frequent service to Barcelona. Reus (39km) is only a 30 minute drive from the villa, whilst Barcelona is approximately 1 hour 30 minutes. Car hire from both airports is easily obtainable on line.
