Ashley cottage sleeps 12 ; 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. Beechtree cottage sleeps two ,1 double bedroom ensuite bathroom plus there is a double bed settee in the lounge.
There are a number of activities available to you in the area and we have listed a few for you below; Fishing at Bessy Beck Trout farm in village Ravenstonedale 9 hole golf course 1.5 miles Appleby 18 hole golf course 16 miles Horse riding at Kendal 18 miles Walking and exploring the Howgill Fells Swimming at Shap, Appleby, Penrith and Kendal leisure centre.
Ashley Cottage is spacious and sleeps 12 persons and adjoins 3/4 of an acre of lawn and orchard - an ideal play area for children and adults . The accommodation comprises of the following: There are a total of five bedrooms and four bathrooms. One double bedroom with en-suite bathroom, two twin bedrooms with shared bathroom and two family twin bedrooms with an extra bed in each room, and ensuite bathrooms. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a 6 burner gas cooker and oven, fridge freezer , microwave oven and dishwasher and lots of large pots and pans. There is a seperate laundry room., washing machine and dryer also space for drying boots and coats . The large dining room seats 14 comfortably,its great for all the family or friends to enjoy a meal together. The lovely sitting room has a cast iron gas burning stove, music centre, Sky ,T.V, DVD and video player. 3/4 acre of lawn and garden with a furnished barbecue and a covered patio .

Deposit. A deposit of 25% is required. The balance is due 6 weeks prior to the start of the holiday.
We also require a surety deposit of £100 refundable if there is no damage to contents or property
Arrival & Departure. The cottage will be ready anytime after 3pm on the day of arrival. For short breaks an earlier time might be possible. The cottage should be vacated by 10am/11am on the day of departure.
Rental rates include electricity, central heating and bed linen, hand towels in bathrooms. We do not provide bath towels.
Due to the close proximity of sheep farms in the area we are unable to accommodate pets.

If you are travelling on the M6 ,come off the motorway at junction 38 (Tebay)take the A685 to Scotch CORNER,brough and Kirkby Stephen,travel along the road appr. 5 miles you will see the sign Newbiggin On -Lune ,and an island in the middle of the road,turn left up the hill,signposted Great Asby.over the cattle grid,after 200 meters turn left at the Ashley bank sign,just past the bungalow on the right.
If coming from Scotch Cornetr and Kirkby Stephen ,travel on the A685,when you see the sign newbiggin on Lune ,do not go into the village,pass it on the left,then yurn right infront of the traffic island up the hill,take the Great Asby road and follow the instruction.
If travelkling by Train,the nearest station is Kirkby stephen 5 miles away,Settle/Carlisle line) and if travelling from the south or scotland,Oxenholme 16 miles ,and from the north Penrith 19 miles
