Description

Ideally situated for walks from the door, both high and low level walks. Maps and books available in the cottage to help you plan your walks. Great Gable and Green Gable easily reachable.

Beautiful walk over Cat Bells down to Derwentwater. Low level walks around Buttermere and Derwentwater.

Local slate mine [Honister Pass] provides tours of the mine and the opportunity to purchase local slate

Supermarkets available in Keswick.

Pets are not accepted, however please be aware that the owners do bring their dogs so we cannot guarantee that it is allergy free.

Because of the age of the property, some of the doorways are tight, stairs are narrow and steep

Short breaks available out of high season. Discounts available on late bookings, please ask
