Lovely bright and airy Casa Velha is the original farmhouse the owner had occupied at times ideal for year round holiday rental. It suits families offering four bedrooms with 3 windows overlooking biological swimming pool and the ocean across gardens.

Quinta da Falésia is a small farm located on a 30,000 square meter protected piece of land between the Boavista Golf Resort and the ocean. There are three houses on the grounds named Casa Velha which is the original farmhouse where the owners reside at weekends and long holidays, Villa Celeiro on the site of the old barn, a spacious two bedroom villa currently on a long let and Villa Pocilgo that is a charming and cozy one bedroom cottage situated next to Casa Velha sharing the same amazing views across the biological swimming-pool and the gardens through fig and almond trees and wild fennel to the sea. One can walk along the cliff path after crossing the land either left to Praia de Porto de Mós or right towards Praia da Luz. The very large biological pool looks like a natural lake and is a favorite with the owner’s grandchildren! It is also a great attraction for migrating birds and small wild ducks which must be chased off the water.

Casa Velha is the original farmhouse, owner occupied at times ideal for year round holiday rentals.The villa offers a ground floor dining room with fireplace, comfortable sitting corner, plasma satellite TV, CD, radio and a large upstairs living room formerly a hay-loft also with TV, DVD, CD, radio, wooden ceiling and three windows overlooking biological swimming pool and the ocean across gardens, fig, carob and almond trees. It suits families or friends offering three or four bedrooms composed of a double, a twin, a bedroom with a single bed and an adult bunk bed and a children's bedroom with two bunk beds, one of which double sleeping up to five children. Two shower rooms, fitted kitchen leading to large terrace with two ivy covered eating and barbecue areas ideal for romantic alfresco dining. It also has breathtaking views to the sea!

Located on the outskirts of Lagos, Quinta da Falésia offers the perfect setting for exploring this historical 13th Century town with its narrow streets full of shops, cafés, bars, pubs, live music and jazz as well as a great nightlife! Visit restaurants, esplanades, hotels, churches, clubs, concert, cultural and exhibition halls. Award winning Lagos Marina offers excellent beaches, four premium golf courses nearby, all kinds of water sports fishing, diving, snorkeling, surf and kite-surf, parasailing on Alvor Lagoon,dolphin and grotto trips, children's zoo, cliff walks, nature trekking, bird watching, horse riding and much more. Day trips to Sagres, its fortress and 15th Century navigation school. Visit the Costa Vicentina Natural Park and its beautiful wild beaches on the Algarve's west coast and the spa village of Monchique nestling in the hills behind Lagos. The Zoo marine and nearby water parks are a must for children. Try the fresh organic vegetables, fruit and honey from the local farmers' market every Saturday morning for a perfect treat!

The villa is on offer with three or four bedrooms depending on total number of beds required. Elderly people are welcome with Bedroom 1 alone suitable for those with difficulty in managing steps. Pets can be considered at their owners' responsibility since there are two dogs already in residence at the farm.

There are also golf courses in Lagos and nearby areas. The premier courses are Boavista Golf Course, Penina Championship Course, Pinta Course with prestigious David Leadbetter Academy, Parque Da Floresta, Vale De Lobo, Almancil, Palmares, Vale De Milho, Alto Golf, Penina Academy Course, Gramacho Course and Pestana Carvoeiro. The rear entrance to the Boavista Golf Resort is within a three minute drive or ten minute walk from Quinta da Falésia! Both Parque da Floresta in Budens or Palmares in Meia-Praia, Lagos are a mere fifteen minute drive from Villa Pocilgo.

Because of its location and the layout of the grounds, Quinta da Falésia could be an excellent venue for small groups wishing to practice both yoga and meditation during their holidays.

All cultivation at the farm including the gardens is organic. No chemicals are used anywhere on the grounds. Guests wishing to try their hand at gardening are welcome! Just ask the caretakers for tools and a pair of gloves. The owners are gradually extending the garden areas by pruning and thinning the existing shrubs and succulent plants then planting the resulting cuttings in protected areas to root or directly where they are supposed to grow into new plants.

Quinta da Falésia is located between Boavista Golf Resort and the ocean. The nearest entrance to the resort is three minute drive away. The lay of the land at the Quinta enables those interested in practicing their game to use one area of it as a driving range. NOTE: Prices shown are for the use of 4 bedrooms and up to 8 people occupancy. . For extra adult or child over 12 years add 10%, child 4 to 11years 5%, no charge under 4 years, cot provided free if booked in advance.
A non-refundable 20% deposit is required to confirm booking, the remainder plus 150€ security deposit against damages are due 3 weeks before arrival.
Full refund of security deposit upon checking villa after departure.
Changeover day is Saturday, other days possible by arrangement.
1 hour daily maid service for cleaning is included except on Sunday! Bedclothes are changed weekly, towels twice weekly. Babysitting available, 7.50 euros/hour.
During Winter months (Dec,Jan,Feb,) there will be a small daily charge for heating and firewood: 8 euros.
