Description
Chalet Mathilde is a lovely chalet just 5 minutes walk from the centre of the mountain village of Les Coches in the French Alps. Just 20 metres from the piste, only 100 metres from the nearest lift and you can normally ski back to the chalet! The chalet is of a traditional alpine chalet design, with wooden beams throughout giving a warm and relaxed atmosphere. The views from the chalet are stunning with Mont Blanc & the Northern Alps stretching into the distance. Only 15 minutes ski from the link to Les Arcs.

2.5% discount for previous guests (if not receiving a free place)
Single person room occupancy will be subject to a supplement of £180.00.
If you are prepared to share you will only pay the normal adult price.
Prices exclude afternoon tea and evening meal on our day off, travel and insurance.
Deposit just £100 per person payable to secure your booking by cheque or direct transfer
Balance payable 8 weeks prior to arrival date

The Paradiski area has something for everybody. For beginners there are two local areas specifically designed for you in Les Coches with nursery slopes separated from, but next to, one of the tree lined runs, which leads back to the chalet. A network of snow cannons on the lower slopes ensures that you will normally be able to ski back home. The wide blues and reds of the Paradiski area are perfect for intermediates and the blacks on the Bellcôte Glacier and Aiguille Rouge are testing enough for any advanced skier or boarder. The famous off-piste route down the North Face of the Bellcôte Peak is well worth experiencing - you will need a qualified guide to show the way, we can vouch for the fact that it is awesome. This is a great area for boarders, beginners and experts alike. There are some fantastic cruisy blues to get you started, a great off-piste playground, half pipe, board parks and boarder cross.

Directions
FROM ALBERTVILLE
Keep left at Moutiers and follow the signs for the "Haute Tarentaise" (Aime & Bourg-St-Maurice). Go through the tunnel and pass Aime continuing towards BSM. 6km after Aime take the right turning signposted Landry. Go right at the cross roads in Landry and follow the signs for Montchavin-Les Coches. Continue for about 500m and then turn left onto the D225.Continue up the mountain, go through Montchavin and head for Les Coches. Pass the Pierre Vacances sign and you have reached the village of Les Coches. Go straight across the roundabout. On the second bend you will see the Intersport sign in the village and on the third what looks like a small ranch. On the fourth hairpin is a sign for parking at the Observatoire. Continue round the fourth bend and then take the second turning on the left which will be signposted for Chalet Mathilde. The chalet is 200m up this road on the left.
The road to the chalet is cleared but we recommend chains for ease of access.

Wow what a beautiful chalet with fantastic mont blanc view
This is one of the most spacious chalet ive stayed at and it has this fantastic fireplace! First night, we had mulled wine and it really set the tone for the week! Food was lovely and services were warm and friendly! It was a very socialable week and didnt want to go home!
