There is an attractive shared swimming pool and patio area in the landscaped gardens. Visitors can be admitted to the apartment by videophone entrance. Secure car park is provided and there is an allocated parking space. A 5 minutes stroll to the village centre with its shops bars and restaurants, ideal for a relaxing break yet only a 20 minute drive down the mountain to the excitement of the Cote D'Azur and St Tropez.

The apartment has a comfortable lounge with all modern facilities (TV and stereo) plus dining and kitchen area fitted with hob, oven, fridge and microwave and washing machine. The bathroom has bath with shower fittings and WC. A feature is the small but delightful balcony with views over the village rooftops and mountains beyond where two can enjoy your meals 'Al fresco', perhaps with a chilled bottle of the local rose.
The village of La Garde Freinet was founded as a fortress in the eighth century. It has retained its medieval charm and authentic french character. There are half a dozen haute cuisine restaurants in the village, as well as cafes and bars to relax in, and for those who prefer self-catering there is a useful little supermarket, bakeries and other shops, so that your hot croissants and fresh fruit, vegetables and meat are only five minutes walk away.
Markets are held twice a week, and various fetes and fairs occur during the holiday season. The picturesque area with its cork oak and chestnut groves can be explored by walking, cycling or by car. Local towns include Grimaud, Gassin, Cogolin and Ste Maxime. St Tropez with its glittering nightlife is less than 20 km away, where you can relax in quayside bars and restaurants face to face with the rich and famous on their gin palaces moored at the quay. The area is famous for its lovely beaches such as Tahiti-Plage and Pamplonne.
