Description
Zeytinlik village named after the ancient olive tree and enjoying an annual "Olive festival" held in the village square.
Four excellent restaurants within walking distance of the villa are "The Achways" with a typical Cypriot meze menu, "Ezic Premier Restaurant " a newly opened very modern Restaurant and Leisure Centre all offering an appetising menu.
"Tike" Mediterrean Grill & Bar.
The surrounding area offers walkers and hikers the opportunity to explore especially in the springtime.
The bustling town of Kyrenia a 5-10 drive from the villa with its many shops and the beautiful Kyrenia harbour with an array of restaurants to tempt you.
Kyrenia Castle housing the ancient ship wreck dating from c 300 BC and its museum is a must to visit.
Hilarion Castle built in the 10th century occupied by the Lusignan rulers during the Middle Ages as a summer residence after which the Venetians took over is also a must with its wonderful views and for the energetic a climb to the royal apartments is spectacular.
