Lovely peaceful place with very friendly and helpful people... Kyrenia is very historical with lovely restaurants lined along the harbour.... Tatlisu has small shops nearby but the busiest part of the area is Kyrenia and Famagusta.
Activities nearby including horse riding, camping, fishing, cycling, golfing, paragliding, scuba driving and water sports.currencies you can spend are gbp, euros, turkish lira and US dollar, they are very nice and accept which ever you chose to pay in.
There are also many music and dancing festivals and events throughout the year.
The property is 25 metres from the nearest beach, and 2 km from algadi beach (famous for the turtles)
25 minute drive to Kyrenia, 30 minutes from Ercan airport..... 25 minutes to other towns nearby such as Estepe
The old town of Kyrenia is filled with whitewashed buildings and the ruins of walls and towers that once protected this city from attack. Whilst the city of Kyrenia may seem quiet and asleep during the day, once the sun sets the atmosphere is transformed as restaurant and tavern owners prepare for the night and the entertainment it brings.

Turkish airlines do good deals from England to Istanbul connecting to Ercan... a taxi from Ercan airport takes around 30minutes and costs roughly £30-£40. car hire companies in the are include pacific rentals, sunrentacar and rhinocarhire.
or you can fly to Larnaca in the south and get a transfer / car rental up to the north. this does tend to be the cheaper flight option. a taxi from larnaca to the apartment will cost around £40-£45 and takes around 1hr 20 minutes. car hire companies in larnaca includ auto-europe and 121carhirecyprus.
