This apartment is situated on a small development in the heart of Ozenkoy. The apartments back onto a cool, shaded, cobbled courtyard and look out to the local village with mountain backdrop.
The apartment itself is newly furnished (2011) with open plan living, kitchen and dining area. A spacious balcony overlooking the communal pool leads off the lounge patio doors. One double bedroom with en suite shower room - easily comfortable for 2 guests and a sofa-bed in the lounge can accommodate a further 2 guests/children. It is fully equipped for all your holiday news.
The development offers a large communal pool with sun terraces & restaurant/bar on site. There is plenty of communal parking and shaded areas within the courtyard. It's an ideal property for a couples holiday - peaceful and relaxing but, minutes away from the hustle & bustle of Kyrenia
Ozenkoy is a lovey, relaxed village that offers a few nice restaurants, bars and shops. It has a good expat community who work together with the locals to create such diverse events as the annual Ozenkoy Flower Shop and Traditional Folklore Dance.
The neighbouring village of Catalkoy is a quaint, pretty village, approximately 6 miles east of Kyrenia and boasts wonderful views of the sea, Bellapais Abbey and the Five Finger Mountain Range. There are several newly created beaches nearby and some of the best fish restaurants on the Island.
Bellapais is set approximately 3 miles to the east of Kyrenia in an elevated position with wonderful views to Kyrenia and the coast. The village is dominated by Bellapais Abbey, which was originally founded in the 12th century by monks of the Augustinian Order, and is the most impressive Gothic building in Cyprus (a must see). The Abbey is situated on a natural terrace overlooking the village of Ozankoy with a good selection of restaurants with local and international cuisine.
Esentepe is located approximately 20 minutes car journey east of Kyrenia, the village goes back many years to ancient times, and it is here that you will find the old Christian church now used as a local mosque. The village boasts many amenities from a Doctor's surgery, police station, primary and secondary schools as well as grocers, bars and restaurants. The village has something for everyone whether relaxing on the stunning coastlines or, rambling walks in the pine forests nestled in the mountainside.
The new Korineum Championship Golf Course lies on the Esentepe Road as well as the planned Port Cyprium Marina – definitely an up and coming area.
Kyrenia town is the place to visit - the old carob warehouses which border the harbour have been converted into attractive cafes, restaurants, bars and private residences with the fishing boats and colourful yachts making this the ideal place to while away the hours. This fascinating town is situated on the northern coast of Cyprus. Its horseshoe-shaped harbour with backdrop of the Besparmak Mountains make Kyrenia one of the most beautiful areas on the Island.
Kyrenia Castle overlooks the harbour, a truly magnificent edifice constructed in the 9th century to ward off Arab invaders.
There are plenty of place of interest in the area for those days when you want to do more than laze in the sun, including; Shipwreck Museum, Folklore Museum, Fine Arts Museum, Monument and Museum of Freedom and Peace, Cafer Pasha Museum, Bellapais Abbey and St. Hilarion Castle.
