Description
Beautiful setting on exclusive complex sandwiched between sea and mountains. Gorgeous sunsets and mountain views. 6 swimming pools. Beach with pier and steps into water and sandy area with sun beds for sunbathing. Tennis courts, gym, basketballs courts, 'English' Pub, local bistro, supermarket, children's play area and fantastic walks all on complex. Golf course 1km away with spa and restaurant fantastic views and fabulous course. 20-30 min drive to Kyrenia Harbour (depending on traffic) Doctors, post office and local shops in Esenteppe, 1 mile away. TV now has satellite reception for more channels.
The complex is self contained with mini supermarket, bistro which sometimes serves traditional Turkish Cypriot food like Meze's and barbecue meats or snacks, an English style pub with bar food, an indoor gym, an outdoor gym, tennis courts, basket ball courts, children's playground and 7 swimming pools.
About 2 km away is turtle bay where the turtles lay their eggs from May to Aug and they hatch out from July to Sept -well worth a trip to the turtle project to watch them lay or hatch.
A 20-30 min drive will get you to Kyrenia the harbour town with delightful bars and restaurants lining the harbour. Kyrenia Castle well worth a visit and lots of shops including designer fakes. Visit Bellapais Monastary nestled in the mountains pretty little village with ruins local bars and restaurants and quaint souvenir shops. Capital Nicosia about 35 miles away.
Cost of living great !: Because Northern Cyprus is part of Turkey, they use Turkish Lira and UK £ as currency. Prices are lower than UK generally for supermarkets and eating out. The Turkish Cypriots are very friendly and helpful. There is lots of history and you will find many ruins, Abbey's and castles to explore. Day trips to the Mountains, Famagusta, Kyrenia and Nicosia which are all well worth the visit. (car hire required) or just relax by the pool and chill!!
Golf: The Korennium golf course is just 1km up the road. http://www.korineumgolf.com/ This is a stunning 18 hold course with views of the mountains and the sea. Huge driving range with pro services and bar. In the main club house there is a fabulous bar on high with amazing views and bar snacks. Also a very nice restaurant which serves gourmet food. There is also a spa which provide many treatments for those not wanting to hit balls on the course. Well stocked pro shop and clubs can be hired.

Suitable for disabled persons. There is one step up to the property from pavement level then all rooms and patios are on same level. Small step about 5 cm high to get into shower where a plastic chair can be put to sit on if required. |
