Description
This beautiful 'upside-down' house has been newly furnished and equipped to a very high standard. The owners have tried to think of everything you will need to enjoy your holiday in North Cyprus and in their home.
It's 'upside-down' because the lounge, kitchen, dining area are all on the upper level as you walk in the front door and, the 3 spacious bedrooms are downstairs - where you can walk out of your bedroom door straight onto the sun terraces surrounding the pool.
The large open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining area has 3 sets of patio doors facing towards the amazing views of the Mediterranean and Kyrenia coastline. All doors lead to a surrounding balcony where you can sit morning or night to watch the sunsets and sunrises - if you're an early bird! The kitchen patio door leads to an even larger terrace with ample room for additional outside seating and BBQ.
The lounge includes comfortable seating for up to 10 guests and there is also a 32" LCD TV with DVD and satellite for those nights when you want to stay in and eat Pizza and watch a good movie.
Also on the upper level, the entrance hallway is spacious with a coat/storage closet and guest WC/basin.
This house really is a like a tardis and when you walk downstairs, you find 3 large, double bedrooms - all with wall-to-wall fitted wardrobes and ensuite bath or shower rooms.
Also downstairs is a large utility room which houses additional storage (great for storing suitcases) and the washing machine/laundry equipment.
The 8m x 5m Overflow Swimming Pool can be reached by the patio doors from all bedrooms or from the side steps leading down from the lounge. The pool is surrounding by a large, paved terrace and garden - mostly laid to plants and gravel. Again, the amazing thing about this area are the views - enjoy the unobstructed sea and coastline views.
The front of the house has its own car driveway and more terraces where you can enjoy the mountain views.
The villa is in a quiet location/road of just 4 individual villas - but, on a well-maintained complex with bar/restaurant/playground & 2 communal pools and gardens so you can enjoy the peace and quiet of your own holiday home or join in with others when you need some company.
It's 10 minute walk to the local village with a small supermarket, restaurant and coffee bar.

The village of Arapkoy is about 20 minutes drive from Kyrenia main tourist town, it's only 10 minutes drive to Catalkoy and Bellapais - where there are interesting sites to visit and plenty of restaurants and shops.
The local beaches of Alagadi, Lara, Shayna are not more than 15 minutes drive away and the new Championship Golf Course in Esentepe, again, is a 15 minute drive.
Kyrenia Town is the place to visit - the old carob warehouses which border the harbour have been converted into attractive cafes, restaurants, bars and private residences with the fishing boats and colourful yachts making this the ideal place to while away the hours. This fascinating town with its horseshoe-shaped harbour is one of the most beautiful areas on the Island.
The Capital, Nicosia is only half hour drive away and there are interesting Museums, Mosques and Cathedrals to visit - as well as some great, cheap shopping on both sides of the border.

Ercan is the International airport in North Cyprus and journeys are made via a stop-over in Turkey.
A valid passport is necessary for entry and a visa is granted on entrance to North Cyprus.

Alternatively, you can visit North Cyprus via a flight to South Cyprus. Larnaca International airport is the nearest airport for North Cyprus. Journey time to the North Cyprus border takes about an hour and hire cars from the South are allowed through the border providing you get the appropriate insurance at the crossing.
