Description

Well established house built in 1988, 'Jacaranda' is surrounded by its own secluded grounds and is fully equipped with many extras including air-conditioning to all bedrooms, TV, DVD, mobile phone and digital safe box. The house is a 5 minute drive from the sea and local village and 10 minutes drive to the ancient town of Kyrenia with its spectacular historic horse shoe harbour.

Catalkoy is within walking distance (10min). Kyrenia is 10min drive away. Bellapais Abbey 10min drive. Roman City of Salamis 2hr drive, but well worth the trip. There is a new 18 hole golf course with spectacular club house 15 minute drive from the house. Beaches are 5 min drive away. They are sandy beaches with beach bar and sunbeds etc. The sea is warm all year round, clear and ideal for snorkeling/diving. Beach towels are not provided. The nearest airport is Ercan and is 35min drive away. Alternatively you can fly into Larnica in Southern Cyprus which is a shorter flight time and a 75min drive time to the villa. Local taxi pick-up and return to both. Car hire is recommended to fully enjoy the scenery and history that the island has to offer. The local supermarket is under 5min drive and supplies all your needs. The nearest bank is in Kyrenia with ATM machine accepting all cards (Switch/Maestro and credit). The local restaurants, of which there are many, cater for European tastes.

Outside: The gardens have many trees, shrubs and flowers, which provide shady areas. There is an undercover outside kitchen near to the pool complete with barbecue. The pool is surrounded by a large patio with shaded area complete with table and chairs for outside dining, overlooking the overflow swimming pool with steps and ladder access. Near the house is another shaded dining/patio area. The pool and gardens are lit at night. The upstairs bedrooms and landing lead onto a large balcony running across the length of the house leading to a seating area over the double garage, equipped with comfortable cane furniture ideal for breakfast, afternoon drinks or gazing at the night sky.

Further Details: The nearest airport is Ercan and is 35min drive away. Alternatively you can fly into Larnica in Southern Cyprus which is a shorter flight time and a 75min drive time to the villa. On arrival you will find a welcome pack of fresh food and drinks and our house manager, Sally, will greet you within 24hr of your arrival. A local 'pay as you go' mobile phone is provided. The local supermarket is under 5min drive and supplies all your needs. The nearest bank is in Kyrenia with ATM machine accepting all cards (Switch/Maestro and credit). The local restaurants, of which there are many, cater for European tastes and are of excellent quality and value for money. Additional information about rental rates

The prices set are based on 2-4 adults, for additional people please add £50 per person per week.
A deposit of 20% of the total rent charge is required at time of booking, balance to be paid 8 weeks prior to departure. A £150 refundable bond in the event of breakages or damage is to be paid along with the final balance. This will be refunded to you 1 week after the end of your stay. Cancellation charges: up to 8 weeks deposit. Up to 55-29 days 60% total cost. Up to 28 days 100% of total cost.

Arrival and departure day is flexible. Arrival time 2pm onwards and departure time before 11am.

Winter rents are available, price is negotiable, please contact owner for rates.
