Local area information: It's a 15 minutes drive to local restaurants and bars in the market town of Guzelyurt, 15 minutes to major supermarket and shops, 50 minutes to main tourist town of Kyrenia Harbour, 90 minutes to/from Ercan airport, 30 minutes to/from capital - Nicosia, and only 5 minutes to sandy beaches/sea and water-sports.
This apartment is truly in a prime location for those wanting a holiday by the beach but within a short drive to all the amenities and areas of interest North Cyprus has to offer.
In Kyrenia main town you'll find the old carob warehouses which border the harbour - these have been converted into attractive cafes, restaurants, bars and private residences with the fishing boats and colourful yachts making this the ideal place to while away the hours. This fascinating town is situated on the northern coast of Cyprus. Its horseshoe-shaped harbour with backdrop of the Besparmak Mountains make Kyrenia one of the most beautiful areas on the Island.
Kyrenia Castle overlooks the harbour, a truly magnificent edifice constructed in the 9th century to ward off Arab invaders.
There are plenty of place of interest in the area for those days when you want to do more than laze in the sun, including; Shipwreck Museum, Folklore Museum, Fine Arts Museum, Monument and Museum of Freedom and Peace, Cafer Pasha Museum, Bellapais Abbey and St. Hilarion Castle.

Ercan is the International airport in North Cyprus and journeys are made via a stop-over in Turkey.
A valid passport is necessary for entry and a visa is granted on entrance to North Cyprus.
