The ground floor consists of a kitchen/diner and separate living area. The living area features a working corner fireplace, satellite television (limited channels), DVD player and CD player. The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven and gas hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. The dining table seats 8 with 3 bar stools provided at the breakfast bar for less formal dining.
A twin room is located on the ground floor along with a separate shower room. Stairs lead to the first floor where the three remaining bedrooms are found. There are two twin bedrooms each with their own en-suite shower rooms and the master double bedroom has an en-suite bathroom. The master double bedroom and one of the twin bedrooms share a balcony which stretches the width of the villa and overlooks the pool, garden and sea. One of the twin bedrooms has an external staircase giving direct access to the pool area. Taking the stairs to the third level will lead you to the large roof terrace.
All four bedrooms, the kitchen and living area are equipped with air conditioning units* (6 in total) and the property enjoys central heating throughout.** A safety deposit box and a hairdryer are supplied and a baby cot and highchair can be provided on request.
The 8.5m x 4.5 metre swimming pool with ladder access is surrounded by a sunbathing terrace fully equipped with sunbeds and umbrellas. A shaded BBQ area with outdoor sink and a portable barbecue stands to the side of the swimming pool.
Kissonerga is situated between the beach resort of Coral Bay and the town and harbour area of Paphos. This villa is situated right on the waterfront at the very edge of Kissonerga, approximately 3 kilometres from Coral Bay and 9 kilometres from the harbour area of Paphos. Although Kissonerga produces citrus fruits and olives it is probably most well known for the cultivation of banana plantations, easily identified by their characteristic blue bags rustling in the breeze.
Loosely separated into two communities, the coastal area of Kissonerga features several hotels, a couple of mini-markets, a growing number of shops and a small selection of eating places covering everything from meze style dining to dishes with a more international flavour. Directly in front of the villa is the beach of Potima Bay, an almost deserted narrow strip, of sand and pebbles, however due to the current in this area swimmers should exercise caution. The main beach for the Kissonerga area is the small sandy cove at Vardas Beach which is approximately 1.5 kilometres away and great for swimming, sunbathing and snorkeling. Sunbeds and umbrellas are available for rent and a small selection of watersports are available in the summer months.
Set approximately 2 kilometres inland is the residential village with a bank, chemist, two coffee shops, a small high class restaurant and even an English style pub!
Coral Bay is the well known beach resort for the Paphos district. This family oriented area has become a lively resort with plenty to offer in terms of amenities and activities. The resort boasts two sandy beaches, the busier of the two being the popular Coral Bay Beach, a sandy horseshoe shaped bay honoured with a Blue Flag of the European Union. Sunbeds and umbrellas are available for hire, watersports are on offer and there are two beach cafés providing refreshments. A little further along the coast is the quieter of the two beaches at Corallia Bay. Continue still further along the coast and you reach the natural rock caves of the area know locally as Sea Caves, an area which provides ideal snorkelling territory and is popular with local scuba diving schools.
Paphos Town once the capital of the island is now included in the official UNESCO list of cultural and natural treasures of the world's heritage. The remains of villas, palaces, theatres, fortresses and tombs mean that the town is of exceptional architectural and historic value. The well preserved mosaics and the Tombs of the Kings are probably the biggest cultural draw with further archaeological discoveries continually being made. Ano Pafos on the cliff, is the main administrative centre and residential district and Kato Pafos, by the sea, built around the harbour and medieval port is the main tourist area.
Exploring Coral Bay, Paphos and everywhere in between, increases the list of available activities and attractions to include mini golf, watersports, go-karting, horse riding, a snooker hall, bowling alley, heritage sites, modern shopping facilities, a waterpark, an aquarium and the Paphos Bird and Animal Park.
There are 3 golf courses; Tsada Golf Course, Secret Valley Golf Course and Aphrodite Hills Golf Course within approximately 30 minutes drive.
