This tasteful conversion boasts original beams and a slate tiled floor, decorated and equipped to a high standard with quality fixtures and fittings. It is set near to the market square of the unspoiled town of Kirkby Stephen, with its antique and curio shops, pubs, restaurants, tearooms and Holistic Centre where you can enjoy a massage or Jacuzzi. It is also located on the Coast-to-Coast walk and perfectly placed to explore the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales (Herriot Country). There are local walks to enjoy, fishing in the River Eden, riding and golf, hang-gliding centre and cookery courses available locally. Alternatively, the Settle-to-Carlisle Railway provides a relaxing and scenic day out as it winds its way through the spectacular countryside.

The Lake District and Eden Valley are internationally renowned for their outstanding beauty, and some of the very best vistas can be enjoyed by hiking to the top of the dramatic fells.
For the young at heart, the World of Beatrix Potter at Bowness is a must.
The charming lakeland village of Ambleside is one of our favorite places, with local food shops, artists’ studios, cafes and restaurants, plus the Grasmere Gingerbread shop nearby.
