Description

Birchgate has its own parking area, a small south facing enclosed rear garden, open fire, gas central heating and a well equipped kitchen. On the ground floor is a spacious fully fitted dining kitchen with dishwasher, fridge, separate freezer, washer/dryer, microwave, espresso/cappuccino maker, electric oven and hob. Farmhouse table and chairs with matching sideboard & radio/CD player complete this room. Under-stair storage is convenient for coats and boots. The lounge is well furnished with settee and chairs surrounding a traditional open fire. The lounge also contains an LCD TV with video, DVD, radio/CD player and a good selection of books & games. The front door opens into a separate hall with stairs leading to the first floor. On the first floor the master bedroom contains a king-size bed and bedside tables - there is room for a cot if required. There is a spacious wardrobe, chest of drawers & dressing table with mirror. The second bedroom has two single beds, bedside table, wardrobe, chest of drawers plus a dressing area (vanity mirror with shelf & gas lift bar stool). Both bedrooms have a CD-clock radio. Soft furnishings & decoration are well co-ordinated. The bathroom is modern & well equipped with WC, washbasin, bath with shower over and airing cupboard. There are small enclosed gardens to the front and rear of the property. The lawned rear garden is south facing with garden furniture for alfresco dining. Just beyond the rear fence is a parking space for one vehicle. The cottage is situated in a quiet area with no through traffic passing either to the front or rear of the property.
