The property has a traditional and welcoming feel with original beams and a cast iron stove for snug evenings in. The double fronted, end terrace cottage is situated in the centre of the village of Portinscale, just next to the village tearoom and just minutes from the local village pub and marinas. On the ground floor you enter the property through the porch which offers space to hang jackets. The cozy beamed lounge has an Inglenook fireplace housing cast iron gas stove, flat screen color TV and DVD, CD mini hi-fi system and dining area. The kitchen is a modern galley style, well equipped with electric oven and gas hob, fridge, microwave and washer/dryer. Also on the ground floor there is a pretty sun room, perfect to spend some time relaxing and enjoy a book or a glass of wine! On the first floor there is a superb double bedroom with color TV, video, exposed cruick beam and ornamental cast iron fireplace with views to Walla Cragg and Ashness Fell. The bathroom has a shower over the bath, complete with vanity unit, hand basin and WC. Jasmine is the perfect retreat for couples.
