The heritage town of Kenmare is the perfect base for touring the breathtaking Ring of Kerry and the unspoilt Ring of Beara. Through the tunnels towards Bantry just 30 km away is Glengarriff with Garnish Island and the Italian gardens.
On the other side of Kenmare is Moll's Gap and the scenic road to Killarney with magnificent views of the Lakes of Killarney and the National Park. Sneem, a very picturesque village, is 30 km just past Parknasilla.
