Stunning 2 bedroom riverside apartment with private balcony

A touch of luxury in the Lake District
I stayed in this fabulous apartment from 1-5 November and I had a wonderful time not even the weather couldn't dampen my spirits as it was a truly first class apartment (I've stayed at the Four Seasons in Sydney and I know where I'd prefer to return to) The décor is stunning and the en suite made me green with envy and never have I had such a comfortable bed when I've stayed away from home, it was bliss! The small touches and attention to detail were truly first class. The apartment is a 5 minute stroll from Kendal town centre and an easy 10 minute drive (through stunning rolling hills) to Lake Windermere, this apartment is perfect if you want to explore the Lake District but want to stay somewhere away from the crowds and stay somewhere less "touristy". I simply cannot fault the apartment, nor the owners, who cannot do enough to ensure your stay is as perfect as possible. If they have the dates available you want then book it straight away, you won't find anywhere better.

Up there with the best
Thank you for a lovely stay and especially for your attentive personal service - the birthday card was a lovely touch. We have stayed in some excellent (prize winning indeed!) accommodation over the years and yours is up there with the best. We will recommend the apartment without reservation.

We re-booked for next year as soon as we got home
We stayed in this spacious apartment in early October and had a fantastic holiday. We stayed as a couple but two couples or a family of four would be equally comfortable. The facilities are first rate and, being almost brand new, are high quality and comprehensive. The kitchen equipment even includes a rolling pin! A nice touch but I imagine that if I had suggested to my wife that, on holiday, she prepare a meal involving rolling out pastry, she would be more likely to brain me with said implement. Altogether a highly recommended holiday home - we rebooked for next year as soon as we got home.

Paul, your service from the start has been exceptional. To you and Becky, you have both created a wonderful place. Superb - 10/10. We've all had a wonderful week with lots of sunshine. 2 highlights: the Settle to Carlisle train journey and lunch at the Masons Arms at Cartmel Fell - great food and views.

The balcony wins Gold Award!
Wonderful week, in every way – the balcony wins Gold Award! All so comfortable, even weather perfect. Warm welcome was nice. The apartment was perfect for us; central location, closeness to bus station (we buzzed about in the open-tops all over the place!), but above all the easy, informal comfort of the beautifully furnished apartment. The balcony made our visit feel as if we were abroad, in the sunshine, watching the river below! The friendly helpfulness shown by Paul and Doreen was much appreciated. Hope to be back!

First Class Apartment!
Fantastic service from start to finish, an immaculate first class apartment with great style that excessed our expectations, fully equipped with everything you could think of and more with the added bonus of a balcony with fantastic views over the river. Secure parking provided but within a few minutes walk of the city centre and just a short drive to Lake Windermere, would highly recommend this appartment to family and friends and hope to return in the future.
